Eating at the same place twice in one day?

Totally off topic, but what does the "F" stand for? I understand DS12 to mean "dear son" who is 12 years old, but I don't get the "F".

After more than a year on this site, and I still don't know all the abbreviations.

I don't think so. But I don't see anything wrong with it since breakfast and dinner would be an entirely different menu.

Even if they are the same menu, I wouldn't see anything wrong with it; a waste of a table service meal perhaps, when they could try out another place, but to each his own. :D

Not everyone is on the meal plan, I think thats what you are alluding to.

Sometimes you have to just take whatever ADR's are available and if its between the place you had breakfast or a place you really won't enjoy then its back to the first restaurant of the day.

Then again, maybe you just adore the food at that one particular restaurant.

That would be a sad side effect of typing with toes... I occasionally make a typo or two... :o

I suppose I could have lied and said it meant "Dear Fabulous Son", but despite the statements accuracy, it was nonetheless a typo.

I wasn't alluding to the dining plan. I was just saying that, for my preferences for MY vacation, I would consider it a "waste" of a table service meal (whether I'm on the meal plan, or paying out of pocket) to eat off the same menu at the same restaraunt the same day. Not that there's anything wrong with it if someone does that. Just that I would prefer to experience two different places and by eating at the same place twice, I would feel like I lost out on an opportunity to try a differnent place one of those times.

But like I said, that's just me. There's not a thing wrong with it if someone wants to do it that way. Heck, if someone wants to eat at the same place three times a day for every day of their trip, that's entirely their business.

But back on topic, I personally wouldn't mind eating breakfast in the morning and supper in the evening (not necessarily the same day but it could be) at the same restaraunt. The Crystal Palace, for example, is a place that's supposed to have a great breakfast and I plan to try it next year. Originally, I also wanted to do supper there as well, but I don't think it's gonna happen with all the other places we want to try.

But I bet there's alot of people (especially among those who take WDW at a slower pace and spend more time at their resort) who eat breakfast and supper both at their resort hotel restarant.

We're not on dp. Made all adr's from the 180 mark. We have adr for dinner at Kona (that's our MK day) It's just two of us me & DH and we're not big breakfast eaters, but would like to do one. I keep hearing all these great things about tonga toast so made adr for breakfast at Kona the same morning. With our schedule that's the only day that it would work. So figured we'd have a good breakfast, go to MK for a while take a break then go to Kona for dinner (not in the same clothes :ROFLOL: :ROFLOL: ) then back to MK for the evening. I figured others have done the same but just asking! :D

Back when the Adventureland Veranda was still around I ate a teriyaki burger for lunch and dinner on the same day at least once or twice. Mmmmmmmm, the food at that place was so good. I still miss it!!!!!!

Tonga Toast is mighty darn good....just way too filling! My girlfriend and I couldn't even finish one up together last year. But I still plan on eating some again the next time I am at WDW!

We used to back in the day when Tony's on Main Street served breakfast. Come to the park, eat breakfast at Tony's, leave the park, eat dinner at Tony's. Those were the days...
