I wish you could have seen her yesterday with her cousin - they did one of those photo booth things....well, there's a monitor on top that shows what they're doing. So my sis and I are watching them stick out their tongues, and put their fingers up their noses...

Oh the good old days. :sohappy:

Ahhh - all the better!

I love when they're singing along to their music with their headphones on and have no idea how funny they sound to you without the music. Priceless!

Ah - that was her last night...I'm chattin' with y'all and she's acting out HSM in our dining room. At least I was out of sight, so I could grin to myself. :D

When we used to drive to FL, DD was forever singin along to her CD player, and Dave and I would snicker. Then when DS got older, he'd also have his on, and they'd be singing 2 entirely different songs - off key of course.

Memories!!!

Well, I need to go give my daughter a lesson on how you put contacts in...and see if she'll give it another try. I'll check back in later!

I love those photo booths! Our friends just went to a wedding and they had one set up at the reception :)

Hello all...

Back from 2 banks and 2 grocery stores.

Make sure you go over some bumpy railroad tracks while you're at it. :lookaroun

Well, attempt#2 on wearing contacts was a bust - we'll try again tomorrow. And Joel is being a goob about making eye contact today, and I don't know why. Delayed reaction to his class this week? They said he had good days.

And have some spicy mexican food, Bunny :D

I'm sure it will take awhile for her to get used to the contact thing. I was 15 when I got mine and it took me a long time. I remember the 1st day I got them, was Homecoming. I could NOT get them in! My mom and BOTH of my Grandma's were downstairs in the bathroom w/ me trying to get them in for me. After about an hour, we gave up and I just went w/out them...there was no way I was going to wear my glasses. The night was a blur cuz I couldn't really see and in all the pictures my eyes are totally red from all the trying. :o

I don't get it either.
The idea of getting them in and out completely freaks me out.

Maybe. Actually mine are in right now - I had her watch me first. I do like wearing them - it was nice not having to worry about glasses slipping down my nose when I was in Florida last year.

See, she just can't bear it when it touches her eye - which is why I have my doubts. We'll keep trying, but she just may need a couple of years. She has until next Wednesday to keep trying.
