First off, let me say thanks to the replies I got from my original message about going solo, found here:

That out of the way, if you don't mind, I'd like to share my thoughts on what happened during the fun filled weekend...on with the post.
First off, never having been on the Magical Express I found I had to search about a half hour before finding the ticket counter. I guess I expected to see some signs pointing out where to go, this was mostly my mistake of not asking before I left of which side of the airport to go. For those who don't know it's on the B side of the airport, ground transportation, all the way down to the end.
I stayed at All-Star Music and chose to use the Disney buses to get me around for the 2 days, to me it made more sense since I was alone. I haven't ridden the buses for probably 12 years so getting somewhere took a little longer, not that I minded much. There was one trip though from Downtown Disney to Typhoon Lagoon to All-Star Sports to All-Star Music that took about an hour though that I didn't enjoy. The driver seemed to be brake happy and I was standing the whole time. Other than that the trips were perfect.
I got into my room around 12:30 and planned on going to Magic Kingdom right away, I also chose MK cause they had the extra magic hours going on so I could stay in the park until 3am. Right when I walked into the park I knew exactly what everyone was telling me about going solo. What a relaxing experience, ahhhhh. Don't get me wrong I love going with my wife and other people but when I was there alone I didn't feel I had to point out things or try to plan out the most effective path to the attractions. My walk down Main Street was at a snail's pace and I just smiled not really caring about what to see next. I spent the rest of the afternoon in the park just walking around really saving some attractions for the shorter lines later in the night. I think I left around 4pm and came back at 8 to watch the fireworks and get to enjoy the magic hours. Last I checked I ended up in bed at 2:45am to get up at 8:30 for Epcot.
Saturday day 2, got to Epcot around 10am and pretty much did everything in Future World before 2pm. I picked up fast-passes for Test Track and Soarin' because I knew one time on wouldn't be enough. I managed to get on Soarin' 3 times and Test Track 2. Again, during the day I took a break, left the park and took a walk over to the Beach Club where I jumped on a bus over to Downtown Disney and had my bus ride from hell on the way back to the room. I think I headed back to Epcot around 6pm and decided against waiting for Illuminations because I figured the buses would be packed and I needed to get some rest for my flight which was leaving at 7am on Sunday.
All in all, I had a wonderful time, the 2 days seem to crawl by and throughly enjoyed every minute of it. Being that me and my wife typically only go down after Thanksgiving I had a chance to experience Disney during the summer for the first time in probably 4 years. What a change of pace between the 2 seasons, wow.
