Wand poll, Love it or Hate it??

Okay, so I have been here for almost a year now! I have been a part of the weekly share of Wand threads. What I really what to know is how many people really care! Personally I don't, but I want to see what the majority thinks.

This is not a rumor thread...No I am not implying that there taking it down, I just want to know what people think. Please be polite! We need not fight!

These threads and polls have been run into the ground. Can we knock it off...for at least a month?

I agree that this is overkill with the wand topics; but I also doubt we're going to see an end to them until the wand comes down. Although I don't like the wand, it isn't a huge deal to me. I'd much rather hear rumors about something substantive. The wand, or lack thereof, doesn't represent something that can really add to a person's WDW experience (unless you are truly thrilled by pictures in front of SSE), whereas attractions do. Obviously I understand it's not like removing the wand or new attraction X, because there is a definite price discrepancy between removing a wand and building a new attraction, but to me, the latter is just much more exciting news (even if it never comes to fruition, which seems to be the case with about 75% of the rumors here).

While I would love to think this is true, I think that you'd see just as many wand topics come up in different forms after it came down: people upset that the wand is gone, rumors the wand is returning, rumors of some other sturcture (Figment's Tail, X-2 shuttle, a Jumping Nemo, etc, you get the point) taking it's place. The wand and it's position in WDW History is a beast that cannot be fed. And while I would love to see it come down, either way it is going to be a topic that is around for a long, long time.

While that may be, I think you'll find over the long run that the Haters usually win out. At least in the other polls I have seen on here regarding this, they have won fairly resoundingly.

If you take away those who don't care I think you will find your answer.

Also did you know more people have voted in online epcot-wand-related polls than in the last US election... yup it's true. HA!

I am shocked by the poll numbers thus far. I thought the general public would be 2/3 like or don't care about the wand not the people on this site!

Based upon the hatred thrown at the wand so far only 1 in 3 people do not like it is rather amusing.

Then again maybe the wand haters are late voters...

It's strong. While it's neck and neck votes for Haters and "Not Carers", the Lovers are starting to fade.

I will admit I did think it was neat at first, I took my share of pictures, but I certainly won't be sad to see it go.
