Opening in 2010, the amusement industry's worst kept secret is now out
of the bag. No name for the actual *ride* has been announced yet it
seems, though the land appears to be renamed "Hogsmeade" (which really
could be the name of an ACE buffett under any other circumstance!)
The terminology in the article is a bit confused - so do not get hyped
for a third gate park. This is in fact the Lost Continent over-lay
that has been rumored for a long time. The scale is quite grand
though, so none the less it's exciting (even for a non-Potter fan like
myself.) Everything in the land should be re-themed to a certain
extent - in some cases more than others.
See: http://www.mugglenet.com for details and one (moderately small)
piece of concept art for the land. They promise to have exclusive art
from Universal in the near future - as well as provide a link that
will soon be the official Universal Orlando sub-site for the new
attraction.
Look for it to hit the US news outlets possibly by morning; it was a
press event in London about an hour ago to announce it officially.
Is this the appropriate part of the post for the cue of "I told you so's" ?
