Tamu Tamu serving burgers?

I recently heard that Tamu Tamu at AK was serving burgers.
Is this true?
I am trying to find a QS at AK that will be open in Sept. that does not serve McD's food, but has a descent menu for kids (FT BBQ's child's menu is :hurl: )

Nope, Tamu Tamu is still Ice Cream and Drinks. What about Pizzafari? They have a good kids menu.

Pizzafari serves pizza, but not on the kids menu. They are single serve, I believe. They do have PB&J and quesadillas (with a choice of 2 sides though).

The switching over of Tusker House is a big mistake IMHO.

I have never eaten at TH.
When we began to plan our Sept. 2007 trip earlier this year, we had decided to try it, but then we found out that it was being refurbed.
We ate at Restaurantasaurus (sp?) on our trip last summer for the character breakfast & we loved it!
I don't understand why they would change it either.
AK needs more QS restaurants now!

That was during spring break. The location is no longer offering the expanded menu.

I think this is all a work in progress, you may find other things happening as your trip gets closer. Hopefully the menus will be reworked now that some restaurants are changing over. :shrug:

Salmon there wasn't bad, but I prefer (different park) the salmon from Sunshine Seasons. Just something about that olive pesto that is AMAZING!!! And even though it doesn't look like it, I'm still hearing from DW that Yak and Yeti should have portions of the restaurant open by 08/2007. We'll see... :shrug:

I think the new Yak & Yeti TS restaurant will be open in Nov.
I guess that will sort of replace Restaurantasaurus for a "sit down" meal.
