MJ's Mayflowers

Hi everyone!

Long day at work today...I think I ended up working about 10 hours

That is so sad. My BIL is in the army...he has done 2 tours in Iraq. He is getting close to his exit date, but he is thinking about re-inlisting. The rest of the family is not so thrilled about that idea. He and my SIL have a 3 month old boy....I'm not sure what he is going to end up doing.

I always wondered if you meant Bucks County, PA. I am PA girl myself....and can't wait to get back....only 2 more years :brick:

Hey Chris!

Thank your BIL for me next time you talk to him. Whatever he decides, he has done a great thing for this country, the best thing anyone can do for their country. But he's got the wee baby at home, and two tours is more than so many others have done...I will keep him and the family in my prayers.

Yes, come back to PA! It's the bestest place ever! Bucks County in particular! :D

Good night Bunny.

I don't mean to sound I am against kids. I am not against them. I love my kids very much. I am just tired.:lookaroun

Good night Bunny and wee Bun!

Susan, let me tall ya...I've only got the one and sometimes she works my last nerve. Doesn't mean I wouldn't rip off my limbs to save her.

Yeah you said it. Parenthood is tough but it is also rewarding.:sohappy:

I need to change my avvy. I'm sick of looking at my wee pointy face. But I'm too lazy to upload a new one.

You sound like me on the photo contest.

PA is so much better than NY!

I've never lived in Bucks County. Lived most of my life in Altoona, went to school at Penn State, then went to school in Philly, and a short move to Pittsburgh after I got married....now we are stuck here for at least 2 more years....then probably back to the Altoona/State College area.

My BIL is a little crazy. His 2 tours were pretty close together...he was home for less than a year between them. My BIL and SIL had to postpone their wedding and do a court wedding before his second tour. Last April they were finally able to have a church wedding. When they were opening the gifts his mom asked what the scar on his leg was from...he said "oh that's where I got shot." We were all shocked..buy he just calmy said "it was friendly fire" and kept opening presents as if it was nothing.

That's a soldier for ya! God bless their hearts...you have to be a little crazy to do that job.

Woo-hoo! Speaking of crazy, I am and free and clear for the next two hours...little one is in bed and Grant just went out with his idiot friends! Time to party!
