Yay for going home!!:D

You'll be dancing soon enough! :animwink:

Yeah, I guess so. I do leave in 11 days.

Yea. I mean, I feel sad every time we lose a soldier or Marine, but this is so close to home. And I read his story in the paper, they published an e-mail he sent home in January about how much he believed in what he was doing...he was a First Lieutenat (sp?) a career Marine...so committed. Such bravery is rare, and should be remembered with honor.

That is so beautiful!

Hi everyone!

Long day at work today...I think I ended up working about 10 hours

Hey y'all. Back for a bit. Just wanted to share a little story about a Marine we just lost in Iraq. He's from Doylestown, which is about 10 minutes from where I live. Anyway, tomorrow night during the First Friday festivities, they're setting up a spot for a vigil and a family member will be there to accept the best wishes and respect from the community. Saturday is his funeral and I believe they're doing a funeral procession through town after the Mass..the town is going to be flying the Flag big time.

Just thought I'd share.

That is so sad. My BIL is in the army...he has done 2 tours in Iraq. He is getting close to his exit date, but he is thinking about re-inlisting. The rest of the family is not so thrilled about that idea. He and my SIL have a 3 month old boy....I'm not sure what he is going to end up doing.

I always wondered if you meant Bucks County, PA. I am PA girl myself....and can't wait to get back....only 2 more years :brick:

I'm the 2nd oldest of 8.:lookaroun

Supposedly when there's more than 3, the dynamics change dramatically.

Middle child means exactly what it says...you're always stuck! I should know. You're trying to please the oldest and take care of the youngest...middle kids are such peace makers. Blech.

Marc's family is reading a book on birth order these days, so I'm learning more than I ever needed to, or wanted to know about birth positions. :hammer:

Amy are you a middle child? I am the oldest. I always wanted an older brother but mom and dad wouldn't get me one. I couldn't understand why not.
