Yeah, I wonder how they will adapt those tests for Joel - I'll just have to see how he adjusts. You mentioned how the hot summer months are more challenging to take MJ to the parks, so I wondered if you would do more intensive homeschooling with MJ then. Summer - I have some goals to work toward for Joel: using food utensils (fine motor skills), potty training, dressing himself, possibly trying the GF/CF diet.
There's rumors floating around that there might be an autism support group starting up in our community. Which would be good - it would be nice to have some activities (i.e. sports, arts) geared toward the special needs kids around here.

Answer:

Yes, we do a majority of our schooling in the hotter months. In fact, I am going to sit down very soon and set the goals for the year (academic, occupational, phys therapy, speech therapy, etc...) Andrew was listening to the news the other day and heard about something called the Autism Academy here, so he is checking into that to see what it is about and whether they have support groups and the like. That would REALLY help us out. Maybe we could be each others support for our summer goals...that would be nice.

By Kat:
That could work out then. We hadn't decided on TL or BB yet. Hubby says he wants to at least ride that big slide at BB. With the exception of that, do you think TL is better?

(I'm not a big fan of water so all I really do is that lazy river thing. I WILL NOT get into a wave pool. *shaking in my boots*)

Answer:

Aside from that, we like TL better, the theming is better, music is better and there are actually slides that I can ride even though I have the chair.

Okay.. let's see. Here's my hair in late September at my best friend's wedding:

And here's me only a few days after I got my hair hacked off:

I conveniently wore the same dress for both pictures for comparison's sake...:lookaroun
At least you're smiling in both of them... :lookaroun ...:o
Personally, I like them both. But I completely understand when more than you wanted is taken off - it doesn't make you too happy.

We'll hopefully at least check out both then - depending on the time we have.

Heh... And it was actually a bit longer in the first pic... since it's curled it looks a bit shorter.. she ended up hacking about 5 inches off!

Oh Krystyna...I like it shorter...makes you look more mature.

I like it short-ish too... I was growing it out for her wedding... and then to have it allllll gone was such a shock to the system. I actually just got it cut the other day.. I'm due for an updated belly shot soon, so you'll have to wait for the "real" picture, but I'd say it's about as long right now as it was when I met Dot..
