Can I get the free dining after I already booked?

I made a reservation for our trip (Sept. 16th to the 22nd) Magic your way, plus dining, pop century, park hopper plus.
My question is: Can I call Disney and talk them into giving me the free dining option now, even though i already booked my trip before the free dining was offered (sort of an upgrade!)? I would be surprised if they would let me do that, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask all you WDW-experts on the site!

You should be able to if the quota of rooms put aside for the promotion is still available at the resort you want to stay at.

I would definately call Disney or your agent and get on that right away to ensure you really get what you want.

You may not find a value resort on those days, I've been searching them as well, but you may be able to upgrade to Carib Beach or Coronado Springs. They both had rooms on those dates. If you have 2 adults in your room or more, this would actually be at a lower price for the room upgrade. You would save around $10-20 a day --

So if the value is booked -- they would essentially be charging you $100 or more less than your previous total to upgrade reservations. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. just got off the phone with WDW and made the change, decided to upgrade the room to the Port Orleans from the POP. So we are getting a little bit cheaper trip, but a nicer resort!! Now I just have to wait till September!!

Thanks for the help. just got off the phone with WDW and made the change, decided to upgrade the room to the Port Orleans from the POP. So we are getting a little bit cheaper trip, but a nicer resort!! Now I just have to wait till September!!

Without free dining, our trip would have actually been $600 more to stay at Pop than at POR. Glad it worked out for you. We'll be at POR from Sept 14-23rd. May still stretch it out to the full 10 nights.
