Transport to MK!

Hi all!!!!

Just a quick question....
We're going to Disney on Monday :sohappy:
As we are taking a newbie, we are going to go to MK on the first day. Even though we are renting a car, I think dad would prefer to use disney transport on the first day..(jet lag, etc. ) So basically, would a Disney bus take you to the TTC or straight to the MK turnstiles?? We would like to get off at the TTC preferably so we can get the boat across to MK! Oh and we will be staying at POFQ!

Straight to Magic Kingdom. Parking at the TTC is the only way to take the Ferry or Monorail to MK!! Belle

example: boat from POFQ to Downtown Disney then bus, would that take them to TTC?

I believe so however wouldnt that be a little more roundabout and time consuming especially after a flight?? Belle

Take the bus to EPCOT, hop the monorail to the TTC then ferry from there

There are no buses running between the TTC and Downtown Disney. If going through DD, they'd have to take a bus from DD to one of the monorail resorts.

:wave: Take the bus directly to MK. You can always go ride the ferry sometime while you are there. It will take forever to get there any other way. Hope your first timer has a magical trip and you, too, of course!!

I stand corrected, I was exactly sure if there was a bus from DD or not.

Take a bus to the contemporary and take one of those boats.

It is a nice little ride and it will take you to the MK

Wilderness, polynesian, and Grand Floridian also have the boats.

Sorry- the boats at the Contemporary only do the triangle from the WL and FW. There is no boat from the Contemporary straight to Magic Kingdom. (because they have the monorail) The other boats from the Poly, Floridian, WL, and FW are correct.

Direct bus is the quickest way to go...save all of that stuff as scenic diversions for your trip!
