I'd say yes...
it started out as a dinner choice for my family...

but now has become a lunch choice...mostly because i like the burgers...

but it is always a must...never miss a visit...even if I have to go alone

Love the theming...

Is lunch as good as dinner or is there no difference? Thanks!

Save dinner for a better place. Si-fi was great when it first opened but has totally gone south in the past few years. I even heard the cookie monster dessert is gone! I would say only go for lunch.

This makes me feel good about choosing Sci Fi for lunch for our upcoming vacation! It does sound like great theming and the menu looked very appetizing. I've also seen pics of the food and it was very appealing looking.

You'll love it...they play an hour of Sci-Fi trailer clips, as well as intermission clips from Drive-In movies...cool atmosphere...

I love it

Its one of our favorites. We are not anti Prime Time, we generally switch around. The last trip in Dec. we couldnt get into Sci Fi and the 6 yr old cried. She had her heart set on having dinner in the cars.

Going in August and we can't wait!

Sci Fi is definitely a place to eat at least once. If nothing, the ambience is well worth it. I've only eaten there once in the 15 times I've been to WDW, but it wasn't even mediocre.

I had a breaded catfish filet. First off, it was literally so dark, I couldn't see what I was eating. It was sooooo greasy, I really couldn't eat it more than half of it.

But with any place, I'll give it another shot. My problem is that my wife always wants to eat at Prime Time or the Brown Derby.

If you don't like schtick, then don't go to the Prime Time. I personally see it as a form of entertainment. Other people see it as a constant interuption of their meal. After all, YOU ARE AT DISNEY WORLD!! One would think you would see something different and not the same rut. If you want a quiet meal or no distractions, go some where else. I just think its ludicrious that people don't like Prime Time simply becuase of the atmosphere, yet they continue to eat there.

Last trip I was there at Xmas, we were a group of 27 and ate there. There was a table across from me that had a couple who told he waitress that they had ate there a couple times before. It was soooooo obvious her husband did not like the schtick and the attention from the waitress. His body language and the awful look on his face couldn't have been more clear. So why keep going there?

Brown Derby is good, but expensive. I've been to the Prime Time at least 10 times and have yet to have a bad meal there. Sci Fi is certainly fun but I need to go back and try it again.

Lunch is much better that dinner. Last trip we ate there for dinner because we were on the DDP, but were somewhat disappointed. Next time we will probably switch it around so we can eat there for lunch. It is one of our favorite lunch places to eat at. Enjoy a burger and shake for me!!!!
