Me too.
It arrives here tomorrow afternoon.

I wonder what Nibbs has been dealing with. We're under a freezing rain advisory till 3 tomorrow afternoon. We'll have to see what our driveway looks like in the morning - may not make it to morning worship :shrug: .
I made the coolest platter today. I used these old doilies that were stained anyway, and pressed them into the slab of clay before laying it over the form...can't wait till it fires and I can glaze it.

Nibbs always gets the brunt of it, doesn't she?
Maybe it wont' be that bad. We can hope.

Ohhh I bet that will be pretty. what color are you going to glaze it?

Sure, I'm thinking of using a sea mist glaze, which is a greenish blue color. The other piece I made is also from slab work, which is a bowl made like a flower. I made a template of the petal, and spent most of class attaching 8 petals to a round center. I brought it home to finish it up. It needs to dry a bit before I can add any details.
