Not really.
Whenever we order books from them, it's generally a few that aren't found easily in stores. And B&N gives free shipping for purchases over a certain amount ($20-30ish).

That's true - some stores do have on-line offers only.
I do kinda remember B&N having free shipping on some purchases.
But a lot of sites do not have that.
