For Disney Visa card holders

I would request it at least a month in advance, we got ours in plenty of time this way. However, from what I understand there are different places in disney where you can access your rewards without having the card (I could very easily be wrong about this, you would have to do more research, I just thought I remembered reading this on one of the info. brochures).

I would go ahead and order your card now so you can be sure to have it before your trip. You can always transfer any points you earn between now and your trip online or via phone.

Call and request your card now. I think the actual cards are good for a year or two. Once the dollars are on them I think they are good for a year. You can transfer any additional dollars you have earned by phone when you get to WDW. They tell you the card will take about 2 weeks, but it usually arrives sooner. Have fun!

Yup, get the card now and then you can transfer disney dollars over to it on their website (and possibly other places) at any time. The card is good for a year from the date of issue I believe.

Last time we went we had over 600 disney dollars on the card so I applied that directly to the package cost. Pretty nice benefit!

We had about 70 dream dollars last time we went on our card and we just applied it to our resort reservation. It was nice because we didn't have to worry about losing the card (which I have been known to do while on vacation :) or how much we had remaining.
