Hey, I have a friend who is at Disney right now and I had told him about the indian on MS right in front of the Market House. I have taken pictures of my son with him every trip and even have some old picturtes of me by him. He called this morning and said he couldnt find it. He was on MS as I was talking to him and he was standing right where is should have been but said its not there? Does anyone know where it is?

it may have been removed. I think there is still one on Main Street at Disneyland, though. I can't really recall though--I know the...I guess mannequin...you speak of though.

There was a photo of me with the indian in DL from 1971, so when I went down with my kids, of course, I needed a pic there as well.

I found him - as of 2004, he was in Frontierland, near CBJ...

When I was there in October he was in Frontierland... He's a big wooden statue with a feather headdress correct? My son was scared of him he thought he was real.

Good find! He was definitely in Frontierland when I took my pics, because you can clearly see the raised wooden walkway.

But that pic shows 'Tracey' with the flower stand clearly visible in the back.

So the Indian got legs and strolled 'down the middle of Main Street USA'!

According to my digital photo album, on April 29, 2004, there were two, nearly-identical cigar store Indians in the WDW MK, one on Main Street and the other in Frontierland. I've got photos of both taken on the same day.

If the Main Street one isn't there currently, it's just probably being cleaned or repainted...

I bet you are right. I am 99% sure he was there on our trip in 06.

Yest there are 2 Indians, One in Frontierland and the one I am talking about on Mainstreet. The one on Mainstreet has been there for 30 some odd years so why did they move or remove it now? It was there in July 06 and the picture of it is below.
