Im staying at the Beach Club in a standard room. Are the bath tubs deep enough and the water HOT enough to take a long HOT girly scented bath? I LOVE to do that after a long day at the parks:kiss:

Bring your favorite bubble bath & go for it!

We have never run out of hot water at WDW even after 4 long, hot showers at the end of the day.

That depends on if you plan to, um... share... :lookaroun

The baths are deep enough, but narrow and short enough to only hold one adult.

Hotels never run out of hot water the way houses do. At least in my experience. So have yourself a nice soak.

The answer is technically - Yes

The answer is theoretically - ICK!

Think of the thousands of people who have used that bathtub before you have. Not for nothing, I would stick with the quick shower, and go over to the spa or the hotub by the pool if you want a nice soak.

But, then again, you never know whats gone on in that hottub late at night!

Another big fan of baths, right here! Beach Club is my fave resort, and their baths are lovely! Very nice little rooms with lovely tile. I make it a point to have a nice long bath every night before bed...whether my "roomies" like it or not ;)

depends on how tall you are... And they are pretty darn narrow... so you could soak but make sure the water is really hot so your arms and legs don't cramp on you if your taller than 5'4"

Ok... go to Bed Bath and Beyond... hit the bath section (obviously...) and pick up one of those suction cuppy things that fits over the overflow drain for the tub (it has a hole in the top so it doesn't overfill!!!) and pack that for your trip... you can always pack socks in it to take up the room so it doesn't "clog" your packing... (sorry... I had to do that!!!)

Here's a picture of it... I get mine at BB&B....

Are you kidding me!?

Have you any idea of the types of baceteria that live in those things and how many people come out infected? I have seen the tubs cleaned in the rooms and I will take my chances there instead of climbing into a hot pot with people who may not have bathed or god forbid, relieve themselves while soaking.

There was that one time in the Contemporary where the pipes burst and entire floors were without hot water. Disney had to give full refunds.

Mechanical failure notwithstanding, I stand by my original posting...we have never run out of hot water in any resort we have ever stayed in.

I totally agree with you about the bathtub. I would never think to take anything other than a quick shower. There have been too many different people in that tub and not 100% certain it was sanitized properly. I bring my lysol spray but I am not going to soak in a tub at a hotel, even a Disney hotel.

Ron, you took the words right out of my mouth. I have never met anyone who takes a bath at a hotel! :hurl:
