Don't take offense at this, but I have to give my dog an aspirin every other day for her arthritus, and the easiest way for me to do it is I just fold it up in a slice of cheese for her. Might work for you too - or maybe even in a spoonful of ice cream.........

I know...it is very annoying. Everybody else can just feel better quite quickly, but not me. Just because I can't swallow a pill.
And its not like I'm trying to be stubborn...I physically can't swallow it.
My throat won't let it go down.

That's a fairly common problem, Freddy.
Like Betty suggested, you have to try to trick your reflexes by hiding the pill in something else. I've heard that works pretty well.
