Er... N/A... :lookaroun
Thanks, we could use them.....M is still sick (although perkier than yesterday) and I have some issues that are weighing me down too..... life sucks right now
And we thought it was cold here!Hiya.
I really don't feel like going door-to-door for these chocolate bar sales, especially since windchill's at 45 F...
well...I am a member of the Jaycees which is a community service organization. Our show showcases all the projects that we have going on in each month. Unfortunately, our show is such a pain to do because we don't ever get guests to come on and it runs straight through. There are no cuts. So I have to watch my time and if I run out of questions...I've gotta come up with something...fast.
I've been trying to find somebody to replace me. I've been contacting the local community college around here to see if there is anyone interested...but so far, no bites.![]()
Hiya.

It is a pain. And our organization has been dropping people like flies and there aren't many of us left. So the ones that are left are being forced to take on a lot more than we may be willing to because there isn't anyone to help. They want me to become a Vice President, but I would have to go to every meeting (every first and third Wed), the board meeting (the second Wed) and then I'd still have to do the cable access show (the fourth Wed). It's just too much. I need some nights to myself. It's a lot of pressure and I'm not ready to take it. And I told them that...and they said...no...you'd be great at being the VP! There's not much that you'll have to do...it's the easiest VP job we've got." So I am still undecided...I don't really want to do it yet. I'm not ready. But there is no one else to take the job.Oy!
Sounds like a bit of a pain.
Do you enjoy it at all?
no!!! I just answered you! :lol:Must go.
Be back later.
You could always eat them all yourself. :lookaroun
Then, of course, you'd have to pay for them. . .
Are they tasty? :slurp:
a loonie?Actually, yes. Very.
I got the two boxes a couple of nights ago, and I'd never had that brand/product before. So, I decided to "test" it. :lookaroun Hey, no sense in selling a product you don't trust! Honestly, though, it's GREAT. For $2, it's definitely worth the price, too.
I hope that a) my neighbours think so, and b) they'll feel sorry for me standing out in the cold and buy it anyway. :lookaroun
EDIT: Half the proceeds go towards my Ottawa trip, so really, they only cost me a loonie each... I've bought 4 so far.![]()
sorry Betty!Back for a bit - still no printer!
Stupid USB port!!!! :fork:
Apparently the problem lies with the fact that I have a photo printer already hooked up to the computer, so now when I ask the new one to print, the command goes to the old one. I don't know how to tell it to look at a different USB port....sorry Betty!Glad to see you back though!
hello peeps. just checkin in at work![]()
