Take 192 for a few minutes.I guess the best people to answer this are those members who live real close to the mouse but feel free to help..........
DH & I are staying off-site at a villa on Silver Creek (on US27), I wondered if there are any 'short cuts' to disney that avoid the 192?
Thanks as always
Thanks for the great directions, even I can follow them. Well I hope I can anyway.
Oh, and I don't know if people have compared the drive time or not, but there's the new Western Beltway before you even get to Black Lake Road. You could take that north to the new Western Way entrance to WDW, which would bring you to Buena Vista Drive near Coronado Springs and Blizzard Beach. Has anyone out there done a time comparison? I know part of the Beltway has tolls, are there tolls for doing what I just described?
Edit: I found a map online, taking the Western Beltway from US-192 up to Western Way would cost you $1.00.

Actually,a couple of corrections.
First, the name of the road is Sherberth, not Sherbert.![]()
Second, when you get to the end of Sherberth, you want to turn *right* onto Osceola Parkway, not left. The only thing a left would get you to is Animal Kingdom Lodge.
You'll want to get a map from the rental office for sure, but it's 417. You take a small access road about a mile south of the airport, and there's signage that'll direct you to 417. It's a toll road, but much easier than I-4. It'll let you off at either 535/536/Int'l junction to WDW, or stay on it until you hit Osceola, which goes straight into WDW and the AK.What's the best way to get to WDW from MCO? I'll be coming down the first week of Dec and renting
a car from the terminal.
