Often Disney movies take place in general cultures, not a specific place.
Aladdin takes place in "Agrabah," which has been pinned down to Northern Africa, the Middle East, or possibly into India.

"Aladdin" in his original form was Chinese, though.

EDIT: I'm thinking it's the Middle East.

Alright, so Morocco works for me. :lol:
This particular friend has never seen Aladdin. :eek: But I told her that I thought that Aladdin took place in Morocco (she's writing a report on Morocco.) I'm bringing in the VHS for her tomorrow. :lol:
