'Singin' in the Rain' umbrella removed

I was at MGM this morning, and noticed that the light pole that had the Singin' in the Rain umbrella attached to it was gone. A couple of weeks ago, the umbrella was kind of loose, and the water effect wasn't working. Hopefully they've just taken it out for repairs, but who knows.

Forgive me if this has already been reported, nothing came up when I searched for it.

The entire pole was removed. I was dissapointed, because I've never actually gotten to see this with the water effect

That is something I had on my list of things to look for our next trip I had never noticed it on previous trips.....I hope it comes back

I know last year while Osborne Lights were up that the water function was not on. I am guessing they may have totally removed it this year if there might be a chance that since it was loose that water might leak or something. I bet it shows back up after the lights come down.

It was not on the GMR, but on one of the streets where they have the facades of the buildings. A metal umbrella was mounted to a streetlight and you could push a button and water would come out and rain on the umbrella.

It wasn't working when I was there in May. It was the first time I had seen it. There wasn't a button or anything that would make water come on. It's too bad because those little hidden things are so fun to find.

Thats it. And I was wrong, it was not a button. That square on the ground was a preassure plate.

I don't recall where the Hunchback theater was... but the last time I saw it, it was across the LMAX - near the Herby pork steamed bun thingy - sorta kiddy corner it, and it was constantly raining non-stop. That was a month or so ago.

I *really* hope that they took it down to finally fix it! The umbrella is one of those little details that are the whole reason why I love the parks!

Thats right, I believe its being used as storage for the Osborne lights now
