I'm not giving up, because the job is with elementary schools and I have done a lot of volunteer time there (yeah, silly me - a volunteer!). Her teaching is Jr. high and Sr. high, but that's also what my teaching certification is in. I'm just pretty discouraged this morning though.

Then the other thing that I'm upset about is basically a local news story here. You've probably heard about the nightclub fire that we had here a couple of years ago where 100 people died because a pyrotechnic display ignited the walls of the room. There's a lot of blame to go around about it, but basically the owners of the club have now been allowed to plead nolo to 100 counts of involuntary manslaughter. One of them is sentenced to 4 years in prison with the OK to work outside of jail, and the other just gets community service. It's just not right!!!! So many people suffered for the stupidity of these 2, and all they get is a handslap!

I know about the family part looking down at you for not haveing a real job. That is how DH family looks at me right now with my job at the church. But at least I am home with the girls during the day. I bet you get the job. I hope you do and will pray about it.

Thanks Susan - there's a part of me that really wants to get this more now just to show her up, but honestly I don't think it's going to happen! Dave said that they're planning to hire 2 people though and 6 have applied, so who knows?

I about the feeling to get something just to get someone back.:goodnevil You just want to say I did do it best, I am good at something! You are good :sohappy: and since there are 2 jobs maybe both of you can get it but if she get one of them and you get the other can you deal with that?

I know - I'm not proud of my attitude about her, but it's been about 25 years in the making!!!!
I could work with her if I had to - we used to teach in the same school when we first started.

That is good. Today is my DH's Birthday. I don't have anything for him this yr. I have no idea what to get him or take him out for dinner. He said I do have to do that because we are both trying to cut down on our eating at night and because of the cost for 5 people going out.:lookaroun

Men are so hard to buy for - I dread Dave's birthdays for that reason!
