So this morning I went through my friend's ADR's and planned a little daily itinerary for them for each day of their trip. It was really fun - now I feel like I've was actually there :lookaroun

Oh Jess. . .:(
It will get easier. But it will take time.
I'm glad you're going to be busy.
You're going to be managing the condo conversion?
That's interesting.

thanks  i hope so...

and i'm sorry i forget what i've told y'all and all that... Yes, i was offerred a position managing a condo conversion down the road... but I haven't taken it yet. Tonight I'm meeting the people I'd be working with as a "friend" of the owners. From there I'm going back on Thursday to give them some feedback on the project and talk with the owners again. They want my ideas on how i'd market the property based on the agents at hand, and the available units. I think it'll be an interesting night. I have until Next Tuesday to decide what I want to do. So we'll see....

How does Lizzie react to all this, if you don't mind my asking?

*sigh* She's ok with leaving... but she never sleeps well that night. She's really clingy to me when she get's home and is up every hour or so just needing to be held. But then the next day we get back on track and we're ok for the next few days until she leaves again... I'm hoping that part get's better when i put her in daycare.

They just scheduled the interview (next Monday), so hopefully I'll have reason to celebrate that weekend in WDW!!!!

:sohappy: Congratulations sweetie!!! I hope it all goes well and you get the job! How fun to celebrate in WDW!!!!

Wow that sounds like a challenge Jess!
I hope you enjoy tonight and find it is something you'd like doing.
I'm sure you'll be great at whatever you do!

You're so encouraging Dot... thanks sweetie... I think I'll enjoy the project... but there's another position available with the College of Charleston that I'd really enjoy as well. (working with the marine biology alumni) i've interviewed for that position as well and got the call back for a second interview next Monday. I like those hours better, the pay isn't as good, but i get to go to school free... so it all balances out. If I'm offerred that position on Monday I think i'd probably take it. It'll be less stress and I'd like working with people my own age. So anyway... LOL we shall see... either way - by next week hopefully i'll know where this next step of my life is going... :)

She just needs to be sure of you.
She'll adjust and be just fine, because she does know that home will always mean you.

Good luck with it Jess, whichever path you choose.

It's the math coach job that I had to wait all summer for them to post. I would be basically running workshops for elementary teachers to teach them how to teach problem-solving skills to their students. It's part-time, and I'd be pretty much setting my own schedule I think.

At the elem. school here they have them. So far they have helped alittle. The kids haven't gotten used to her yet.

Change is hard on kids no matter what, and I'm sure she senses your feelings about it too. Give it time and you'll both adjust. ((hugs))

I must say the College job sounds so right for you!
And going to school for free is a definite perk!
That plus better hours and less stress. . .
I hope you get that one!!!!!

I'm not sure if I'll actually be in the classrooms, or if I'll just be running workshops for teachers (if I get the job of course)

As far as I know this teacher isn't really with the kids very often but if someone is struggling she takes them out of class to help them. Plus she helps the teachers with their math in class, Not teaching so to speak.

I'm really curious to see exactly what the job will entail. I know that it's federally funded, and is only for 90 days out of the school year.
