New MK entertainment coming soon!

Just saw some info on upcoming entertainment experiences coming to the Magic Kindom.

The first one is the High School Musical thing that everyone has been talking about. but from what It looks like it wont be at the Tomorrowland Stage area but on a rolling stage. So they can get everyone going and hopping.

Then there is something on Main Street will have guests walking with characters down Main St. to Town Square. It seems like something small but a way to make some "dreams come ture" to have guest walk in a parade.

Then 2 types of shows 1 in Frountierland with Woody and the Round-up gang and the other in Fantsyland where they will have the Prince and Princesses as part of the "how to" become a royal.

It seems like MK is moving towards TDL type entertainment where you can always find something different in each of the lands.

Do we know if these are special for the Year of a Million Dreams? or are they going to stick around longer than that?

No start dates were talked about, but I would guess some time in october. But must remember all shows are subject to change without notice. I am looking forward to all of them cause it will be fun to have more things to see.....you know those rides can just get so boring:drevil:

I know they're already casting for about four different mini shows on the Disney Jobs website.

Great news! Thanks for sharing! This is all part of that "attention to detail" that Disney is known for! I'm glad to see an increase in entertainment! That even helps the Guests that don't care to watch the shows, because that is that many less Guests in line for an attraction (when the shows are going on). Great news, thanks, again!

you mean MK is moving BACK towards entertainment in each land...this is how it always was at Disney before the dark times (mid 90s - early 00's). TDL is based off the old way Disney used to do things.

YES! I hoped that someone would realize that TL is not the place for a stupid pre-teen movie that will be out of style in 2 years.

Change, smange. It's bad enough that SADCT, Cinderellabration, and Sword in the Stone are leaving (though I do look forward to the new parade and show). They do NOT need to take Hoedown as well.
