News Tomorrowland love

They have been suspiciously quiet about it since the original announcement.
Probably to get some of the other inprogress stuff open and out of the way (I imagine they didn't want to start until Buzz is done just so that part of Tomorrowland isn't essentially a total dead end)

I mean look at the crying that BTM wasn't going to be ready early enough for some etc. I'm still hopeful that everything else they mentioned recently has been happening and in progress. They really just need to nail down the Walt animatronic for then this should be a *relatively* quicker update. Since iirc its just the 1 scene and some updates in other scenes (probably the future scene)

People keep saying stuff like this about various projects and it’s just contradictory nonsense. An initial project announcement has never been followed shortly by a big information dump.

My question is, how will the Walt scene work? I assume it’s gonna be in the loading scene, so will it be much shorter than the rest of the scenes to account for loading and unloading?

I didn't say it wasn't happening, its just they haven't said much about it.

It would be a lot better if they just tore them out rather than repainting. They don't make any sense now that 94 Tomorrowland is gone; why are there random rocks there?
They did remove DL's even uglier rocks at their Tomorrowland entrance a few years ago so that is a valid point.

I think the Tokyo Tomorrowland looks good, but I think it is mostly because they still have their towers and waterfalls in place... The architectural forms themselves still look futuristic... Sadly ours are gone and will not come back... I think we are stuck now with the completely uninspired rocks and iron-like white ring ... It is not great....or even good....
I saw the pics over in the Tokyo thread and I agree there does look nice. Maybe when WDW finally announces our SM major refurbishment it will coincide with some other changes to the land as well.
While I appreciate the updates on various refurbishments throughout WDW, it's Carousel of Progress I'm most interested in finding out more details on, including when it will happen
I think it’s about to start soon with BTTMR and Buzz wrapping up very soon. I’m curious on what other refurbishments that are planned but haven’t been announced yet. 🧐
