Please, for the love of all that is good, please tell me you don’t actually think I believe “Tiffins” and Electric Umbrella” are the same.

Pretty please?

Of course not, I actually know information. You are the one that posted them together as one name. And you cited a nonexistent/defunct restaurant as having good food. Don’t try to play me as foolish when you made the error.

It was a typo, any reasonable person in the context of the post would clearly know that it’s a typo.

I’m curious, why you would think anyone would remotely think there was a restaurant called “Tiffins Electric Umbrella?” You really think this is more likely than a typo? Also looking back, I didn’t even mean to include Electric Umbrella because it wasn’t a new restaurant, so there’s another typo that I didn’t even realize. So you can keep being snarky or just accept the clarification and more on.

“Docking Bay 7, Skipper Canteen, Harambe Market, Woody’s Lunchbox, Regal Eagle, Tiffins Electric Umbrella, Connections Eatery, now even Woody’s Round-Up BBQ. Last 10 years have brought us a step up over the previous 10.”

The fact you got likes on your post is ridiculous, anyone with half a brain could put two and two together instead of scoring cheap internet points.

You’re just grasping at straws.

In the meantime, I’ll be reminiscing over my delicious Coral Reef Lobster Bisque from last night, unlike most of the menu it has stuck around for many, many years!

But I don’t know theme parks, clearly.

I'm still waiting for an answer to my questions, asked in good faith, to try to understand your stated opinions.

Which are?

I also don’t know how that is relevant to the post I responded to. Wish people would just back me up when people are obviously being intransigent and nitpicky.

Why are so many people acting in bad faith, not saying you, but people on here💀

It's not the restaurant. It's the menu and quality of ingredients used. There's a reason food and menu quality dropped precipitously.

ABC had its menu updated. Pecos Bills was good until they gutted the menu and toppings bar. Cosmic Rays has had better offerings, and still does from time to time.

We found the food at DLP to be rather good. When did you visit? Where did you dine?

Again - When did you visit DLP? Where did you dine? It's impossible to have a discussion when you avoid the pertinent questions.

Which would you say is the worse eatery at DLP?

Jealous, you’ve been to DLP and the US parks recently?

Curious to know what food improvements you’ve noticed?

DLP though started the process during the Covid shutdown in terms of upkeep. And ever since then it’s been in a continuous state of maintenance and upgrade projects from both parks, resorts and Disney Village. In that respect it puts the US parks to shame, which really should be brought up to the Paris standard.
I went in 2024. I thought it was significantly better put together than the previous decades overall, but food was only really better at like Avengers Campus and the hotels from what I noticed.

Food quality is still an issue, makes zero sense, it’s not hard to get right, but even the Cast Members have become friendlier in a large way.

I first heard the Lion King rumor for DAW from a Cast Member that gave me free croissants, heard it from him way before I ever heard it on WDWMagic.

Come to think of it, I also heard that Lion King rumor from an officer on DCL once like years ago😂

I think Orlando gets a bad rap outside of some of the AA issues on Rise and a couple others. It’s very clean and Cast is friendly. Food is better, things are just too expensive without an AP or Cast discount.

Missed this post.

I’ve eaten everywhere from Captain Jack’s to Hyperion. To the Colonel Sanders. To Inventions, that Avengers buffet, Toad Hall, Bistrot Chex aren’t, the bakery on Main Street. An assortment of Disney Village places over the years, etc.

The food sucks as a whole in the parks. Just flat out how it is.

There’s great food at the resorts and I like the place on Main Street, but by and large, it’s either fine or bad. It is cliche theme park fair.

That said you can still find good food, but a restaurant like Captain Jack’s should be way better, is my point.

The resort’s weak spot in my opinion.

I enjoyed Walt's restaurant in DLP and also Annette's Diner in Disney Village where I had a burger to rival Cowfish at Universal. We also really enjoyed Pym's in Avengers Campus in Paris, the price is very high but as an eat as much as you like it was very much worth it. I'd say Pym's has a better tasting selection than anything at Disney World that I've tried as an eat all you like option at least.

So you went to DLP once, in 2024, or you've gone to DLP many times over the past 10+ years?

Two questions, now that you’ve started replying to them.

1. What do you mean by “better put together”?

2. Are you mainly talking about table or counter service, or both?

Other than Satuuli, Flamehouse and Docking Bay, the QS at WDW is same-y everywhere. With fluorescent Mac & cheese and cardboard pizza standing out - and not in a good way!

We liked the choice of German sausages in the QS in Fantasyland (DLP). Didn’t really try anywhere else for counter service.

The biggest complaint I see about table service at DLP from Americans is how long it takes…. but that’s a culture shift for you guys.

We watched a 'Paging Mr Morrow' older vlog the other day when he was in DLP. Now he's no fine dining expert but he did say that a lot of people (Americans I'm assuming he means) had told him that the food in DLP was a big let down or words to that affect.

I know it's subjective to some but is it a common idea that DLP isn't great for food? We found no issue with it on our last two visits and enjoyed what we ate.

Well, that is how you wrote it. You might want to edited your post to insert a comma.
But I also know that people are smart enough to know people have typos all the time, and certainly after I clarified that should be enough, not bickering over semantics…

Just like I know “edited” was a typo by you, I’m not even going to mention it because it doesn’t matter except to show the logic I’m taking.

It just seems silly doesn’t it? Not productive?

My favorite sit downs are Tiffins Brown Derby.

Seems obvious what I’m trying to say doesn’t it? Not sure why everyone is attacking you over a comma - seems weird.
It reads as if the name of the restaurant is Tiffins Brown Derby. If that is correct, no problem. If you are talking about two different restaurants a comma - but preferably and - is needed. It isn't obvious. Especially if you are posting a list with other names with commas separating them.
