Area of construction between Germany and China. Google Earth's images are several years out of date, so I assume whatever they built is now complete. Anyone know what this was?

Area of construction between Germany and China. Google Earth's images are several years out of date, so I assume whatever they built is now complete. Anyone know what this was?

It was a staging area for the construction of and later scraping of the Harmonious barges. Here is a picture from when they were working on the barges.

The fact that it barely two years was so satisfying especially considering the greatness and 20 year run of its predecessor.
I am not too fond of its successor but at least it doesn't uglify the lagoon during the day.

I would say Luminous is an attempt to try to have a similar feeling and emotional connection to ROE while still being saddled by the IP mandate. It is FAR better than Harmonious, but it does not get anywhere near the standard achieved by Reflections of Earth.

My contention was at that time no way they were touching bolsanaro…and it never made sense really anyway. The tour group phenom couldn’t last forever and what would be the draw? I couldn’t see the audience.
And of course a now close to 40 year history of “I’m good” with additions to world showcase…generally speaking.
But WDI did a lot of work on it…it seems

WDI had to divert all their resources to Tianna's Breakdown Adventure.
