DAK 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I just went to YouTube and watched the scene of Antonio's room.
I tried to watch Encanto a couple of years ago, but couldn't make it through the movie and stopped watching before this scene.
The scene is very pretty, and yes - I do believe it'll lend itself to the ride very well.
I have hopes that WDW does a better job with this than they did with Tiana's ride.
PatF was a film I liked quite a bit, but as most of you know I was severely let down by how it was applied to the ride.
It seems from what we are hearing that Tropical America's and this Encanto attraction is getting an effort more in line with how I believe things should go.
Ironically Encanto is one of the few recent efforts by WDAS that I actually bothered to see or to be more accurate was coerced into seeing.

That is similar to how it was for me.
I suppose I watched it largely due to the hype.
At some point in, I realized that I was struggling and didn't really care what happened.
If I get to that point with a film, where I feel like I am forcing myself to get through it because I fail to care about what is going on or have interest in it - I will sometimes bail out.
This is a big contrast to say earlier Pixar and Disney films like Toy Story, Nemo, Cars, The Lion King etc., where they really had me hooked.

I think at this point it's disingenuous and naive to suggest Disney still cares substantively about such things
So ... good thing I didn't suggest that. I simply said that the poster I quoted was wrong to say that the attractions don't include animals. I very intentionally left the door wide open as to whether or not the execution would ultimately gel with the park's mission statement, especially given the recent Zootopia debacle.
I don't respond to you when you simply complain about IP. I respond to you when you say things about the ride content that are demonstrably false based on the available information released thus far. Complain away, but maybe think about doing so factually instead of perpetuating inaccuracies.

I think it is all part of the "Put anything anywhere" campaign that they seem to be doing in all the parks... nothing matters as long as there is something new... and just dump it in the place that it fits the least.... I am waiting for the next Toy Story attraction and meet and greet to move into the Morocco Pavilion...

You guys seriously don't get it, do you?

I know Disney claims that the Encanto ride will take place on the day Antonio got his gift. That doesn't mean I believe your claims that the ride will focus on animals.
You don't seem to accurately remember what you've said in the past. You insisted for a while that it would include other narrative content because you couldn't imagine them not using the back half of the movie, even well after early summaries of the intended ride content had been published. You also said you couldn't imagine Antonio being one of the central characters of the ride.

Additionally, most of us have not claimed that it will adequately focus on animals. We have said that animals are included and that the setting of Antonio's gift ceremony is probably the best option that could be hoped for within the context of the IP, but almost everyone maintains that there's a lot of uncertainty around Disney's ability to strike the right balance here. It will be very difficult with Encanto as the chosen IP.

...Okay look, let's look at what we know about the Encanto attraction coming to DAK, according to the Disney Parks Blog released, they state:

WDW_Tropical-Americas_Encanto_Casita_Interior-scaled.jpg

If you’re a fan of drawers, floors, and doors, let’s go! The first-ever “Encanto”-themed ride-through attraction is coming to Animal Kingdom, featuring the beloved Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest. It’s time to go explore alongside him, and you never know what member of the family you might bump into…
Also given the concept art that I posted above where the Madrigals are surrounded by, you know... animals, why don't you think the ride will have a focus on his animals in some way. Like sure you could be right, they might not until the end, but seeing as Joe Rhode is involved with TA (idk if he's helping out on the Encanto attraction as well, since he's involved with the IJ ride) and he's said positive things about this expansion, there's a good chance Encanto will focus on Antonio and his animals.

And before you or someone mentions the show scenes with Isabela's room, Storm Hallway (Pepa), and Bruno in the walls, those are show scene names, they don't indicate what the story is specifically about. Antonio's animals could still be involve in there somehow.

There’s a point where playing dumb becomes indistinguishable from the real thing.
I'm not playing dumb. However dumb I seem is genuine.

Because the movie didn't, it's doubtful that any Encanto fans want the ride to do it, and Disney is likely aware of this. We've heard this exact same "THEY'RE GONNA MAKE IT FIT!" claim with Guardians of the Galaxy in EPCOT, Better Zoogether, and I think Frozen Ever After as well (though I don't think Disney ever claimed that they would for any of those). And guess what? They didn't.

Didn't Joe Rhode also say that Better Zoogether fit the park? And look at how THAT turned out.

Joe Rohde also thinks that a giant oil rig towering over DCA was a good idea. As great as he can be, He is not above selling out.
While I was not for that re-theme, you can’t argue it’s popular and many say improved. I haven’t ridden it since the change.

Also, that wasn’t Joe’s idea, he was given a tough challenge and made good of it.
