And then Journey of Water becomes Kali?Just replace the jungle cruise at MK with a Moana attraction and then replace Kali with Jungle Cruise. See it's all water so it works.

And yet here you are. Talking about and providing free lip service to said “mega organization” all press is good press after all. It's really creepy how some of you seem to find the idea of not going to a Disney park an insurmountable task. Not even all of them, just one.
All I said was that I am not giving Disney money for a park that doesn't include what I care about anymore. Giving Disney money is not the default state of being.
Does that mean I expect some kind of mass exodus or that people won't show up to the new land? No. It means I will not be one of those people that does show up.
When the new area is crowded after I say I am not going to go into Animal Kingdom anymore, that actually doesn't contradict anything I said, because I am not one of those people.
I would like to spend my money supporting small businesses and seeing more of my country, instead of trying to squeeze happiness out of an expensive park that I already have experienced many, many, many, many, many times.
I have basic self control.
Bringing it back with Maleficent coaster featuring a giant dragonDisney had forfeited both dinosaurs and dragons to Universal.
Lets check back in about 7 years to see what we gotBringing it back with Maleficent coaster featuring a giant dragon
Do we know if the Encanto ride will be a water ride or a dark-ride?? Being something like Shanghai Pirates would be so cool!
We have better though admittedly less advanced attractions still called POTC over here. I would like to see the technology adapted here for something else though IP based or not as long as it fits where it is placed then again, all the parks have become thematic no-man's lands now so whatever.Having ridden the Shanghai Pirates, I remain flabbergasted it hasn't made it's way to the States yet. It's a truly amazing system and that ride was mind-blowingly good. Although I shouldn't be surprised: consider how long it took to get a trackless ride like Pooh from Japan over here.....
Disney's dragon riding ride surpasses what EU has done.Disney had forfeited both dinosaurs and dragons to Universal.
We still haven’t got a trackless ride like Pooh over here.Apparently tracked dark ride, nothing special about the ride system.

fair point. we need another decade of crappy Lil Mermaid rides before that can happen. We still haven’t got a trackless ride like Pooh over here.
I love Flight of Passage, but is that a dragon?Disney's dragon riding ride surpasses what EU has done.
Sivak'ho!
I haven't been on FoP, so I'm curious, is it great more because of the IP (banshees, setting, story?) or the ride system (e.g., would it be a great ride if it was Star Wars speeder-biker or flying a Marvel vehicle or something else)?I love Flight of Passage, but is that a dragon?
PS. I really don't care what it is, its a great attraction
Unfortunately this is the not as objective of a metric as we like it to be [low wait times] to determine ride quality/ popularityYeah, I don't understand why there is the re-narrative that Dinosaur was somehow popular or not "underutilized" space as a ride.
It was clearly not a successful ride in terms of rider interest. It's low wait times were not a solely a reflection of high capacity. When you run the ratio of average wait time by operating hourly capacity, thereby controlling for the different hourly capacities of each ride, rides like Space Mountain, Pirates, Big Thunder, Rise of the Resistance, Everest, Avatar Flight of Passage, tower of terror, Guardians all show significantly greater rider interest than Dinosaur. And just commonsense tells you that: How many people has anyone spoken to after a Disney trip who excitedly said "I went on this amazing ride - Dinosaur (or Countdown) - at Disney! You've got to ride it!" I have heard that when Everest opened. And Avatar. And tower of Terror. And Rise. Even Tron. I've never -- not once -- heard that about Dinosaur. Very few people get off that ride and immediately felt a need to get back in line -- even with 10 minute waits. Whereas you see guests recycling back on Everest repeatedly in low-line situation.
It's low wait times simply reflect it just wasn't a very good ride. It was the Mission: Space of Animal Kingdom.
This was an easy and correct call here: the Indiana Jones versions of this ride system are far superior to Dinosaur, which was of marginal interest to most guests throughout its existence.
For me its great because of the ride system!!! IP does not matter in my opinion.I haven't been on FoP, so I'm curious, is it great more because of the IP (banshees, setting, story?) or the ride system (e.g., would it be a great ride if it was Star Wars speeder-biker or flying a Marvel vehicle or something else)?
