all the more reason I'm hoping they announce a complete DL TL replacement at Dexpo 26 (except maybe their Space Mountain)The Nemo Subs has always felt like it doesn't know exactly what lane it wants to be in. It starts out in a serious exploritory vain akin to the original Submarine Voyage. Then suddenly the Nemo characters show up, and the tone abruptly shifts to basically watching a DVD or Blu-Ray through a porthole.
One of my sons loved Thomas the Train. The whole concept of Woody's Roundup was to imply that Woody was a product of a different time when Westerns were popular. The fact that Buzz is a spaceman toy also literally alludes to this.
I had a Thomas phase as well. Ringo Starr was the narrator when I was a kid then it later changed to George Carlin, Of all people. One of my sons loved Thomas the Train.
His room had Thomas bedding, and a framed Thomas print on the wall.
Then, the Toby Maguire Spiderman film hit the market.
He became obsessed and mirroring Toy Story, Thomas was swapped out for Spiderman seemingly overnight.
DL's big SM refurbishment was twenty-one years ago now. Maybe they can make it even better though of course if they keep stalling it would make the one in Magic Kingdom look even worse.all the more reason I'm hoping they announce a complete DL TL replacement at Dexpo 26 (except maybe their Space Mountain)

I have respect for both, though ultimately Ringo became a bigger influence seeing as how I ultimately became a drummer, That and seeing Tapestry of Nations when I was nine. One of my favorite comedy albums, ever…darn, I was a rebel back in the day…!!!!!![]()

Is this the Ichabod projection added to DLR in 2024 for Halloween or the animated silhouette added for Oogie Boogie Bash in DCA? Not sure these are theming added for the sake of theming? Good for DLR and DCA if we want to count this as theming.Things like repaving and updating Adventureland pavement and adding Ichabod Crane?
I’ve seen it go back and forth - they really phoned in the 70th.Disney does try a little harder in DLR and DCA
So if Frontierland is being lost and everyone is expecting Disney villains in Villainland what if Disney cut a deal with WB/D for Westworld? Now that would be a different Disney.
Westworld Hotel attached anyone?
It's like we had the same mother...So, then. We're all agreed. Disney needs to build a Westworld.
And the 50th for WDW was awful! I KNOW, because pandemic, yada, yada, yada.I’ve seen it go back and forth - they really phoned in the 70th.
That’s pretty light treatment for something so serious. And the 50th for WDW was awful! I KNOW, because pandemic, yada, yada, yada.
they could have at least done a show in the saloon - it’s so easy! Same issue I had with DL 70th.And the 50th for WDW was awful! I KNOW, because pandemic, yada, yada, yada.
Do you know? Because you still seem very confused by it.And the 50th for WDW was awful! I KNOW, because pandemic, yada, yada, yada.
Uh, this is about in Magic Kingdom. They recently added a small bit of theming where at night you can see Ichabod Crane in one of the windows above Liberty Square. He has a few animations and is around for a few minutes before blowing out his candle and disappearing. Is this the Ichabod projection added to DLR in 2024 for Halloween or the animated silhouette added for Oogie Boogie Bash in DCA? And pavement must be fixed and or maintained anyway. I wish they thought of theming when they replaced the tile in Morocco in EPCOT instead of using whatever random tiles they had backstage.
I will agree, Despite WDW being the number one place visited in the world, Disney does try a little harder in DLR and DCA even though they are more of a locals park.
Oh OK. Well, better than noting. Is that a projection too?Uh, this is about in Magic Kingdom.
