That’s it!!!

It’s fast becoming the “Lucas/Kennedy Effect”
And she was a TV star before she joined Indy, and that is where she still is today as well as starred in 3 other movies since Indy.

Again for someone who isn't "working" they sure are busy.

…in other news…John boyega waited on me at Starbucks Today ☕
I'll take "Things That Didn't Happen on This or Any Other Planet in the Universe" for $100 Alex.

Coincidentally he has 3 movies going into production as we speak. So again another actor who isn't "working" but is busy working.

Sense a theme here....

But if you just wish hard enough, can't you make anything come true? ;)

As if Blockbuster style movies are the only work actors are auditioning for…. Outside of Tom Cruise and Chris Pratt…. How many actors are getting multiple big budget blockbuster movie franchises these days

I presume Zootopia hurt Wicked’s second week, and will also have legs (a la Stitch.)

I recall last year how Mufasa would take a hit every time a new movie came out, and then rebound to the top or second spot. I think this was just bad timing for Wicked and good timing for Zootopia - but if the release schedule is anything like last year, they can both cruise awhile.

Recall that Wicked Part One was up against Moana 2 in the exact same release pattern last year. Inarguably Moana 2 was a stronger direct competitor - also a musical; plus it did bigger numbers in comparable markets than Zootopia 2.

For Good will still do well, but it is going to total less than the first.

I don’t think this will prove terribly problematic for a variety of reasons. It’s also a merging of media companies 5 (Warner) and 6 (Netflix). Comcast is third and paramount 4th.

Disney is already the biggest media distributor so I’m not sure it really meaningfully changes that calculus. Netflix has a deficit of high quality post theatrical content and frankly their own pipeline is less impressive than it used to be as most of their pillar series sunset.

This will likely finish off theatrical films and could very likely kill Universal. If you’re any kind of film fan, it’s an unmitigated disaster even if it’s a slightly better outcome then Paramount winning the bidding.

Agree with Casper but looking at AMC stock that ship has already sailed.
What a collapse of a stock
