Replace Leota with Dr. Facilier, portrait gallery starts with all Disney heroes then shows the respective villains setting traps beneath each in the reveal, Ghost Host narration replaced by either Maleficent or Lady Tremain (impersonated) voice, Banquet Hall and Graveyard just a smörgåsbord of Disney villains... I absolutely hate it, but I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility for Disney (though a general "villains are gathering" ride seemed to be the consensus on what the new dark ride for Villains Land would be, so to make Haunted Mansion that as well would seem odd).

That would be absolutely awful... There would be absolutely no reason to actually do this as it would not add any additional capacity and would destroy one of the strongest performing attractions in the park...
though..... it fits the current narrative of..."Well there is a mountainy looking structure, so instantly "Cars" is a perfect fit... because of mountains and rockwork... I guess......

I understand they may have done this for drainage and possible laydown land for construction (although I thought the principle laydown yard was the plot across the road?). But that's such a large clearing plot that I remain irrationally hopeful they will seek additional permitting to put Villains land show buildings on parts of that plot, or maybe reserve it for an expansion pad?

I question the need to do anything other than just fill it in with dirt - fastest and cheapest I presume.

FYI the laydown yard closest to Bay Lake has a substantial pile of graded and screened dirt on it..about two acres in horizontal area and maybe 15 feet tall (spent quite a few years in a Army Engineer Group so I'm a bit familiar)

It will all eventually be used for future expansion. But not sure how much if any for Villans. From talking to someone on the project he mentioned that with everything they are working on today, cars and Villains , they designed it all specifically with a long term plan in mind to develop all of this newly cleared land in the future outside of the present boundaries.

Maleficent AND Lady Tremain were BOTH voiced by Eleanor Audley who's already the voice of Madam Leota (dubbed over Leota Toombs). Just keep the original Audley audio playing in the seance room but put a Maleficent animatronic in place of the Madam Leota ball.

Everything past the train tracks was designated 'lay-down.' And when the District asked, "Are you sure it isn't for entertainment?" Disney said 'nope.'

This is a positive indicator that Villains will not spill over past the tracks.

And we have Josh saying Piston and Villains together is the same acreage as TSL, which is 11 acres. And within the tracks there is 11 acres to develop.

But things can change.

Imagine if in the future sometime they move the backstage across the canal (No river no need for a canal right?) and expanded the park behind pirates using the existing expansion pad. With an extension to the RR tacks from your cleared area the parade could start from Villians area coming back where the show boats are parked.

Or they just build 10K DVC and print money

Please lower your expectations people, do not read too much into that concept art.

Toy Story Land is terribly designed in terms of efficient use of space -- I don't have high hopes for Villains for a variety of reasons, but I don't think it needs to be compared to the size TSL and assume it will be disappointing solely because of that size.

What I can't wrap my head around is the "grand scale only Disney can deliver" rhetoric. If Villains is really going to be this small, that statement is so misleading that it's pretty much a straight-up lie.
