Tell them that when they destroy your childhood.also for the love of Walt this is Disney, it should be fun, not something to be miserable over
How would that even be possible? You’re joking?Tell them that when they destroy your childhood.
Dramatic much??Tell them that when they destroy your childhood.
I don't think so. I can tell you that watching them kill EPCOT piece by piece has caused me quite a bit of emotional distress and made my outlook on life far far darker.Dramatic much??
I guess i’m lucky they closed Mr toad when they did. It was my fav at MK when i was five but once it closed it made me realize nothing is permanent in the parks and to enjoy them while i can.I don't think so. Indeed! I wish I could go back and tell my 9 year old self that going to WDW would bring you great joy for approximately 10 years and then slowly break your heart over the next 10 and ultimately drive you to the point where you end up despising your former favorite place with every bone in your body and ultimately questioning your life itself.I guess i’m lucky they closed Mr toad when they did. I appreciate the concern. I am fine right now but it can be a struggle some days and it's not just because of Disney. As a matter of fact, I actually prefer complaining about Disney over what I spend most of my time doing.![]()
You might want to take a break. I'm passionate about Disney, and quite disgruntled about the current state of things. But if it ever makes you question your life, I think it's a sign you need to take a break. Just my two cents.
I'd argue the sharpest sting of "growing up" is realizing things aren't going to stay as they were forever.Indeed! This IS my hobby. And it's a major reason why I've never been happier. Some people here need to take a step back and find new hobbies, this one isn't working for you anymore
Continually celebrating mediocrity isn't a good hobby, either. Some people here need to take a step back and find new hobbies, this one isn't working for you anymore

If they can't be happy no one else should be.The site is WDWMAGIC, not WDWMISERY.
All but a handful of posters find joy and excitement in WDW. Why try so hard to make them feel bad about it?
I don’t know about anyone else but whenever I complain on this site the goal is not to change anyone else’s mind. I’m stating what’s on MY mind, just like the positive people do.The site is WDWMAGIC, not WDWMISERY.
All but a handful of posters still find some amount of joy and excitement in WDW. Why try so hard to make them feel bad about it?
