Don't they typically start making these 1-2 months out behind the scenes? Something must've happened if they abrubtly canceled it unless it was poor communication.Wilderness Lodge’s gingerbread cabin was canceled last minute.
Classy.
Jollywood > MVMCPWe just went to Jollywood nights. We wanted to experience it once. We had a great time. We got on all the attractions we wanted to with minimal waits and got to see the stage show that had the muppets, very high quality and a live orchestra and live singers and dancers, very well done.
I even got to try both the green and blue milk ! Both fine, I liked the blue better.
One thing to take into consideration, the places serving the party specific foods, only served those foods with NO modifications or substitutions! So picky eaters beware.
We really had a fun time.
Likely just not finished.Almost none of the decorations at CBR are lit this year. Hoping they aren’t finished the install.

Methinks you did more shopping then you let on about...I did the Christmas tree stroll at Springs this evening - at a moderate pace, and occasionally stopping for shopping, it took me 2 hours due to crowds. Fun, in all honesty.
No apology neededI owe an apology to @Sirwalterraleigh a friend of mine who has a place right outside of Disney decided they wanted to go for a day. Called asked if there was any way she can get tickets to a MVMCP for Thanksgiving week and they told her not a problem 4 people… not even staying on property and didnt even have a ticket for the park yet. So much for truly being sold out
Kind of a magical feeling, wasn’t it? Were you surprised and happy? It went up Friday.Just an FYi - the tree is going up at AKL Monday night into Tuesday morning. Anyone know if WL is up yet. Thx.
Listen ive been given/offered tickets to “sold out” Halloween/Christmas due to inclement weather which makes sense but to literally call as a non resort guest with no ticket week of Thanksgiving i was shocked even tho i suggested for her to tryNo apology needed
Those “sellouts” have long been suspected to be completely arbitrary…
Announcing a sellout is good for social media drones to give free PR.
They will never say this…because they have zero reason to…
5 or so people here will be adamant they “know” the numbers aren’t fudged…however.
They know who they are![]()
As i just replied its happened to me before but it was because my party was washed out so yes i agree holding back tickets but this is honestly 1st experience ive heard of someone not staying on property calling days ahead to get a party ticket and them literally saying okay. (To be clear this was a good friend of mine not myself) but yes it did make me feel good and her kids were happyKind of a magical feeling, wasn’t it? Were you surprised and happy? Disney’s good at that.
Seriously though, could it be they don’t advertise tickets because they have enough people at the party but hold some back for your type of situation?
What would they have to gain by pretending, though? I doubt many would do as you did and call to check.I owe an apology to @Sirwalterraleigh a friend of mine who has a place right outside of Disney decided they wanted to go for a day.
