Why bother with AP merch? They don’t spend any money in the parks.

😉😎

That said… the shirt looks pretty low-effort. Long sleeve will narrow its desirability. Pin… middle of the road. Just more “push some buttons and see what gets churned out and sell it”-level merchandise. 🤷‍♂️

It appears all dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are now sold out:

Imagineer Daniel Joseph on the new Prototype Cookie available during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays:

I am beyond thrilled to share our labor of love project; a new edible illusion! Disney’s holographic chocolate is debuting in Epcot at the end of November! It’s amazing to see what merging illusion development and foods can do!! Thank you to all the amazing people on our small but mighty team that helped bring this “only in a Disney park” creation to our guests!

Not to put too fine a point on it, but for a Disney innovation... it's very much not. I bought a silicone mold for that effect last year. Looks really cool, but it ain't quite so thrillingly unique as WDI may want to claim. (ETA: There have been diffraction grating tricks with consumer-grade 3D printers for years now.) I get really annoyed with WDI blowing their horn over things that have been available on the consumer market. They used to lead the way, and now it's, "Hey, look! We made this with colors!"

Looks great and I can tell you in person, fitting the Gingerbread House in that space is going to be very tight. I wouldn’t be shocked if they find a new home for that display next year.

Another way to look at this: that would be a lot of commerce occurring in a resort lobby. Not just the usual gingerbread items from the gingerbread house but also drinks from The Perch. My first thought for the gingerbread house that fits thematically is Boardwalk. It's a smaller lobby, though.

Well there was very almost one this year.

There is more to it being missing this year than just the construction.
This! and talk about chuffing too much into one area, they have that bar and tree nearly crammed together, I think the carpet is too busy, it looks like they sure downgraded the opulence it once had, I don't know I'm just not impressed, that's just me. I hope TDO is happy with the outcome and new found all important revenue. Like its been discussed by several in other threads, the vibe they are sending out of not wanting people coming to visit is really starting to be felt.

Sadly dynamic pricing for Gingerbread went through the roof, so it was shredded and made into sellable treats to be sold by Scrooge's confectionary conglomerate.
Meanwhile, at a similar looking resort in California, you can dine with characters from Mickey’s Christmas Carol. Now THAT I’d pay for.

Instead, we can’t even get a decorated Whispering Canyon.
