Totally. Warner Bros should have rights to Roger Rabbit to have Roger Rabbit and Bugs Bunny teamup in the future movie.
We'll see what happens.

But in my opinion in this new world of mega studios with the mega mergers and buying up IP, I doubt many would be willing to "team up" and lend out characters for a movie like in the old days.

Depends if they’re desperate and need the money. But then again they would probably just sell themselves to the highest bidder.

Well the man is 84, if he is going to do anything he better get started now. And he has no kids to pass it on to. So he really better do something soon.

Also I doubt Disney will lend out Mickey if they aren't directly involved. And since they gave up the rights, I doubt they'll do anything.
He only has to wait until 2031 to use Mickey in colour as we know him!

I would like to think we will get a theatrical re-release of the original film in 2028.

Hope Spielberg and whoever is running the WDC at that time can come to terms and make it happen.

Literally one of the best films (not writing persay, still good, but overall) movies of all time.

Robert Zemeckis was just firing on all cylinders. Back to the Future is my favorite movie, but his style works here just as well. It's a cinematic achievement what they did with the hybrid live-action animation, the way it's directed, the worldbuilding, characters.

Masterpiece if there ever was one.

The man didn’t make a “bad” film until Polar Express, which has become a holiday staple and mini-economy unto itself. He’s earned a lifetime blank check in my view. Really one of the greatest directors ever. And yes - WFRR was exceptional in every way.

Polar Express is a masterpiece.

The sense of wonder, the technology used, the cinematography, unreal.

Third act writing is just okay, but the film isn’t appreciated by a lot of people because they don’t get what Zemeckis was setting out to do.

But yeah Zemeckis is definitely one of the greatest directors of all-time.
