ngl i can buy more into a raccoon with vocal chords than shrinking
How would the oxygen even work if you were than small? You would suffocate instantly because the new incredibly small parts of your lungs could not adequately exchange the oxygen. Not to mention the actual problems with "losing the space" between atoms/electrons/etc that most shrinking explanations try to go for. The fluid dynamics would also kill your almost instantly

How many shrink rays bring random observers inside a medical procedure?
See, but that is science fiction for our actual humanity - to add a future plausible twist to a real world theory of how medicine will be done. Something that we actually are moving towards (without the shrinking humans these days). That is actual science with predictions.. like Horizons was.

You're really trying to say Galaxy hopping talking plants, raccoons, and other comic stories are basically the same thing?

You guys are amazing at times..

I never said talking plants or raccoons are plausible, talking brain organisms or food isn’t either but they were used to educate.

What I've heard regarding Coco in Mexico is that their idea was rearranging the flume so that the load platform is on the side of the building facing Odyssey, and then install a new build queue in that area so that it doesn't come at the cost of everything else inside the pavilion. No idea how that is realistic considering Mexico butts up against Odyssey but maybe it would all go around the back or behind Norway. Not that that has anything to do with Wonders.
I actually believe this because there is a lot more room between Odyssey and Mexico than people think. Plus they can always take up some of that water area. I also heard the consideration/idea of removing the restaurant inside the pavilion and making that some type of queue space. However expanding Mexico off to the side makes more sense and would be better

Also my pitch is make the queue and enterence behind the Norway expansion/ meet and greet zone and make behind that a small coco village that then cuts inside to the ride.

Not yet.. but it is science fiction rooted in hypothesis of future tech -- instead just fantasy story telling for entertainment purposes.
Guardians is also about futuristic tech, just told with IP characters. The Cosmic Generator with wormholes/teleportation has been repeatedly theorized upon on how we could utilize similar technology. Now, we are very far from it but I would also argue we are farther from shrink rays and still very far from suspended animation.

Cosmic rewind isn’t about the tech - it’s a story about joining super heros to prevent the destruction of earth from some fantasy alien USING the jump holes.

You really need me to spell out for you how that is nothing like a fictional journey inside the body that uses human physiology to be the perils and thrills while exposing guests to these concepts of how the body functions?

Is reading comprehension really this bad everywhere now? It seems the common thread here is people have no clue what plots or messages are anymore… they can only comprehend what they physically have in front of them? This is like grade school book report stufff…

If you utilizing the miniaturization to go into a body is "using the tech" for a ride then certainly a ride where you are constantly jumping through space and orbitting the celestial bodies within should ALSO be considered "using a futuristic tech' as its the whole reason you're on the ride. The entire plot revolves around these wormholes that go through both time and space.

Body Wars is flat out not an accurate/very great depiction of how the body works and gets quite a lot wrong with the neurons, capillaries, and quite a few other components. The situation that happens in body wars can quite literally never happen because its simply put not how the body works.

But I digress because that wasn't the claim, the CLAIM is that science fiction does not fit in Epcot and was only added with Guardians. That claim, is inherently incorrect and I believe that anyone can now agree Body Wars and Mission Space (and of course Space 220) are full science fiction. These are not realistic events and not based on any real life technology as shrinking technology in living humans can quite simply not exist.

Debating what fits in any park has become pretty pointless if you ask me. Disney will attempt to justify just about anything to appease fans but they’re going to get that IP in there regardless. It is what it is.

Also in my opinion, WoL was a fairly terrible pavilion and quickly became outdated. It’s shocking that it didn’t open with the park but came almost a decade later. I honestly don’t think there’s anything there worth salvaging and it’s probably best to level it for potential future expansion rather than let it sit there in guest’s view.

I urge you the use common sense on this one. It is not that deep.
I would argue that your common sense is off as the argument again was that while it used fictional technology, it was an educational tool that helped people know more about our bodies. If that information was laughably incorrect at most times, then this whole attraction was essentially pure fiction, masquerading as an educational experience similar to how Guardians does with its “City design on a futuristic planet”

It’s common sense that these attractions are fiction. Similar to plenty of other attractions in Epcot based on fiction. We can’t act like Epcot never had science fiction base on it with THIS many science fiction attractions.

I still find it hard to believe Wall-E doesn't really have presence somewhere at Epcot (or even TL). Space can be a loose concept for either park IMO, and Guardians is arguably Disney's best ride right now.

I hope WoL gets something built - Epcot could use another worthy attraction.
**Although, I still don't hate the Mary Poppins spinner in UK. Something that small over there is perfect placement.
