Yes, yes, I know we just got back. We went in the middle of December, then again for Christmas, then again in the middle of January, and now - our third month in a row…

For less than 1 night at Riverside, I got 3 nights at Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista. Booked from Monday 12/1-12/4. Might (who am I kidding) go up Sunday night.

To answer your question, we are currently tied at 6. Tony will win for # of trips if he goes twice in December. But I will have spent more days at WDW than he will.

Yes, the person who suggested the friendly wager based it on number of trips.

To address next year: it is shaping up to be a light Disney year. We typically don’t get a new AP immediately after our old one expires.

Plus, we’re hoping to be training a new pup!

I said to Brian last night: I don’t know why Kylie has been so present in my mind lately.

Answer: it’s her birthday in a little over a week. The subconscious is wild.

Glad to hear you're going to welcome a furbaby soon. As you know, we recently lost our beloved kitty after almost 15 years of.companionship. It would.have been his birthday next month.

I’ll admit I was rooting for @Tony the Tigger. Who doesn’t love an underdog? And aren’t most of us underdogs when compared to @Tuvalu when counting Disney trips?

I should have booked placeholders when everything was cheap over the summer! (Well, I did for Christmas. That was a steal.)

They wanted to charge me over $200 to ship some fixtures needed for my new store - from Orlando. 40 shelves. Those will fit in my car. Might as well pick them up myself and take a business trip with a side stop at WDW!

Lord, I need the mental break. Let’s go!

And on that note, I’m canceling the hotel temporarily. It can only be canceled without penalty today. I’m not sure if the fixtures I ordered are on site, or if they have to order them in. I expect they’re on site, but can’t verify until they open tomorrow morning.

OK. I called them at 9am. They said they only had 25 of the 40 fixtures at their Orlando location. They could ship the other 15 from their Tampa location for $68 shipping. Or ship all from Tampa for $210.

I was back and forth over whether or not this was worth it. My rationalization was wearing thin, even for me. I asked if they could verify Orlando actually had the 25 pieces. They said they’d call me back.

Cut to me having to turn the shower off to answer the phone - (!) - and it turned out they DID have 40 in Orlando.

I would take that as a sign, wouldn’t you?

For some reason, hotel prices were more reasonable today. All Star Sports was $10 cheaper, but…I music!

I’m nuts. Driving up tonight.

Trying to open a frickin’ record store two weeks from today. #priorities
