D'Amaro smiles the same way I do when there's five minutes left in my day and I'm mentally counting the seconds to go home while using the last bit of force in me to make something that kind of looks friendly.

I don't really mind how long a ride is if I enjoy it sufficiently
This is why I will feel really disappointed when I even see Cosmic Rewind from a 45min ride to a 3 min coaster..Me neither. What I don't like is waiting over an hour for a ride that's less than five minutes long.
... or in the case of TRON, under a whole minute of actual ride time.
Or as Walt called it "The Plausible Impossible."It doesn't have to make real world sense at all times. I wouldn't have fallen in love with disney if I was unable to suspend belief ~ but it has to be somewhat coherent and able to be followed.
In my time here I have mostly heard the opposite. He is famously obsessed with using video and projection technology in lieu of Audio Animatronics. Why he is now the only Imagineer his age who is still with the company is a mystery to me.I blame Tom Fitzgerald for a lot of this crap… I hear a lot of people praise him and I have no idea why
I guess that explains it.Gensler was the lead designer and architect for new Epcot.
Exactly… I said that earlier… When I heard how excited he was about Toy story mania, and how he thought it was so mind blowing… I lost all respect for him… Old man never seen a PlayStation before ..I don’t know… LolIn my time here I have mostly heard the opposite. Agreed, Hunchback was among the best live shows WDW produced. It’s unfortunate that its theater was eliminated as I’d prefer it over BatB, although neither should exist today if Disney actually cared about updating its shows.
He has done good work as a scriptwriter, SSE 86, Horizons (in which he also appeared) but his tenure as a creative Executive has been a bit questionable. It is very strange that he is the last second-gen Imagineer left standing in the company seeing as how Tony, Joe, Kevin, Kathy and virtually everyone else from that era are long gone.Exactly… I said that earlier… When I heard how excited he was about Toy story mania, and how he thought it was so mind blowing… I lost all respect for him… Old man never seen a PlayStation before ..I don’t know… Lol

IP’s are great when they are a natural fit. But you wouldn’t plop dumbo in the middle of DAK and say it fits cause “it’s an animal”
That was my suspicion.
It might even put you in contention to replace Iger. You're right, I wouldn't but I'm pretty sure today's Disney would.![]()
Does anyone know exactly what Tom's role in the Imagination trainwreck was? I know he wasn't Show Producer but very little documentation of his involvement has come to light. The fact that Tom is the mortal enemy of Disney Legend Tony Baxter, and has been for many years, speaks volumes.

It’s tough to be a bug was a masterpiece compared to thisIt's tough to be a Bug wasn't the greatest show in the world either, and it was also weird that it was in the park's icon. Same is true for this show. Maybe one day something good will be down there.
