Fair enough, it’s just a shame that we are once again settling for less than Disney has promised and delivered in the past. This had so much potential with modern tech and new characters to highlight. I’ll accept the fact that times have changed and a shorter parade was warranted. I just hoped that they would properly fund and outfit what we did get and that doesn’t seem to be the case. The only Subtractions I see are No Flying, 50th Flags instead of Lighted Waves, No Butterfly Marchers recently. Too bad MK didn't keep the Butterfly and Dragonfly costumes from Spectro for Encanto!
I never said that Starlight is 100% Perfect but This looks much better than just a 8pm HEA!
Same with MOUACT in 10 Days.......Believe me, I get it! I'm sad every Jan 1st when Post 50th FOF returns after Christmas Week when MK shows what they are known for!Fair enough, it’s just a shame that we are once again settling for less than Disney has promised and delivered in the past. Boo To You is proof that Disney can still do it when they want to (and when a hard ticketed event justifies it). It’s a bit tired but still the amount of characters and performers blows away Starlight. It’s not even close for me.
Not sure if this is indicative of anything but it's interesting.

You missed the conversation about the new dessert party where, for $149, children age 3-9 get a cupcake and light up vest and are invited to dance in the street between floats to raise GSATs.Josh probably - "Jeff - why does this look so bad? Where's the cast and where are the other floats?"
"Well Josh, we were gonna have other floats and more cast but we decided our bonuses and stock buybacks needed to be larger and I really couldn't risk only making 2% less this year"
Josh most definitely - "Makes sense - good job."
The light-up vest is the $299 premium party option. The $149 party only gets your child a glowstick they can wave at the floats. You missed the conversation about the new dessert party where, for $149, children age 3-9 get a cupcake and light up vest and are invited to dance in the street between floats to raise GSATs.

In an update to the entertainment calendar, the start time for the second run of Disney Starlight this Saturday, November 1, has been changed to 10:30pm, instead of 10pm:

I guess it's something they're only doing on Saturday.Update - Disney has also shifted the second performance on Saturday, November 8 to 10:30pm:

I wouldn't be surprised, given previous filming patterns, they cancel one of the two days of the parade. Since filming often goes on well past 10:30... They usually stop for the fireworks though.I guess it's something they're only doing on Saturday.
I have a feeling they won't be flying or atleast not anytime soon, all the equiptment for that has been removed.Approaching 4 months and no flying? Costumes aren't fixed? Sigh...
