MK All-New Nighttime Parade Disney Starlight Set to Debut at Magic Kingdom in 2025

That's been my thought as well, it doesn't make sense that they're missing unless it's something like that. There hasn't been any major weather issues and the Moana dancers in particular have no reason to not be there since they don't even have anything that lights up anymore so I can't be blamed on technical difficulties.

I'll go down the rabbit hole of this fantasy, they could throw in Peter Pan finally flying into an announcement like that too

Perhaps some budget cuts to go along with those price hikes? You can’t show growth without both!
Certainly hope this isn’t the case but it is strange how inconsistent it all is.
It’s certainly a pathetic way to run your brand new long awaited night parade at the worlds busiest park…
Don't get ahead of yourself. The next step in the typical Disney process is to let show elements break and not fix them.

It has been many weeks where the only street performers are the royal court dancers and Tinkerbell, I don't know what the reason is but this is just unacceptable and bad show. There's no excuse for it anymore. It was sort of understandable when this was brand new but I think at this point they've had more than enough time to work out the issues. Also the removed buildings on the Peter Pan float look awful, bring them back.
I’ve seen recent streams of the parade, and the Moana and Frozen performers are there sometimes. The only ones I haven’t seen in a while were the Encanto dancers. I’m hoping this is a sign that they are changing the outfits.

Also last night on Streams. I noticed MK re-did the Normal Lightning Cue at the end of Starlight. Now Main Street's Lights come on at the last beat of the Soundtrack....instead of 10 seconds after since July 18th........

Odd that it's just that night? Some kind of extra media event or show that day?
No Insider but im thinking its too early for Christmas taping. MNSSHP, along with Halloween ends at Midnight Saturday morning..

It’s frustrating to see the status of this brand new parade, especially while Boo To You pulls out all the stops since it’s a hard ticket. Way to cheap out Disney.

Is it possible this may be temporary while they work on the flying mechanisms for the pan float? I have no idea just a hopeful guess, can't think of any other reason unless they were damaged and being fixed. Otherwise this kind of thing should not be happening already.

That was my first thought when they removed it but other people brought up that it could be because the building were blocking people's view of Peter and Wendy while they're on the ground.
I think the buildings were removed so you can see Peter and Wendy better. Maybe TDO's Flying was never Approved?? If Peter and Wendy were in the Air the whole Route, the Buildings wouldn't be a Problem.....

Having better sight of Peter and Wendy is not a Bad Thing... At least MK is still paying a little attention to Starlight since they fixed the Lighting Cue at the very end Monday night. Granted, it would be nice to see the Full Cast and the Lighted Waves every night..... However, I'm still Ecstatic that MK got Starlight out the Gate and the Schedule has returned to form!!!!!

Is it paying attention or just subtracting from? It’s clear you love this parade but it’s tough to celebrate something that appears to already be getting cuts in areas that needed additions. Hope they prove me wrong and that they’re actually working on fixes, but I won’t hold my breath.
The only Subtractions I see are No Flying, 50th Flags instead of Lighted Waves, No Butterfly Marchers recently. Too bad MK didn't keep the Butterfly and Dragonfly costumes from Spectro for Encanto!
I never said that Starlight is 100% Perfect but This looks much better than just a 8pm HEA!
