This was a no brainer to name the whole resort that. It’s a much better name than Lakeshore Lodge. Disneys River Country Resort makes too much sense so they obviously needed to choose something else.I would sort of love it if the pool area was called "River Country" The pool area here has great potential if not budget cut or value engineered to death.
What about the pool area do you believe has been budget-cut or value-engineered?I would sort of love it if the pool area was called "River Country" The pool area here has great potential if not budget cut or value engineered to death.

The jury was dismissed a long time ago. The plans aren’t changing. Lazy river, main pool, quiet pool, and splash pad/“interactive water play area”. Same as I posted many, many months ago.I said - "if not budget cut or value engineered to death"
.....I meant I am excited for this pool area as long as the project gets the full funding it needs. I think the jury is still out until it’s all finished.
Have you seen anything regarding a slide? I’m loving what I see so far!The jury was dismissed a long time ago. The plans aren’t changing. Lazy river, main pool, quiet pool, and splash pad/“interactive water play area”. Same as I posted many, many months ago.
There is supposed to be a slide at the main pool. I’d have to go look up more tomorrow, the memory is fuzzy right now.Have you seen anything regarding a slide? I’m loving what I see so far!

That’s barely enough for the current demand. They are going to need more than that one boat. That wouldn’t be FW that would be doing that. But yes, WDW transportation did expand the fleet in preparation. That’s why the Tradewinds now exists.
@HauntedPirate - do you know anything about the new/existing boat launches? I'm just assuming they add a boat launch at Lakeshore and add a stop at Lakeshore. That’s barely enough for the current demand. They are going to need more than that one boat.
Pretty sure there is boat launch in the plans. And I think work might already have started on it.@HauntedPirate - do you know anything about the new/existing boat launches? I'm just assuming they add a boat launch at Lakeshore and add a stop at Lakeshore.
New Blue Launch: FW-Lakeshore-WL-Contemporary?
I know only that they are building a new boat launch for LL (you can see the outline of it in the latest overhead pics). Operationally I defer to others for information.@HauntedPirate - do you know anything about the new/existing boat launches? I knew there was a dock, was definitely more curious about the path.I know only that they are building a new boat launch for LL (you can see the outline of it in the latest overhead pics). Operationally I defer to others for information.
Just me speculating - One would think that there would need to be additional capacity, well beyond one new boat, for a resort with 900 rooms opening in 2027. Not to mention figuring out pathing, scheduling, etc. I'd guess they have about 10-12 months to figure that all out.I knew there was a dock, was definitely more curious about the path.
Dedicated Skyway? Train? Sadly it will probably just be a few more buses, but fr a resort of this size it should be something else. they need another pair of the big boats they use to bring guests from TTC to MK... at the least...
