Ohh…some palace intrigue in this one!

This also says it was internally approved by CCO Filoni, which was not a position he held until 2023, meaning this was rather recent?

Interesting though considering that Bergman hasn’t been seen as a serious contender in the succession race, ie he hasn’t been seen out in public much unlike the others. So not sure how much truth there is to that bit.

I wouldn’t fall for this kinda stuff…

It reminds me of the internet smoke from the early 00’s that tried to paint George as “not really screwing up”

Ironic that the one part of the those POS “rebootquels” not to be universally panned was driver…and now all of a sudden there was this “awesome” follow up that just didn’t line up?

It smells like last weeks fresh catch

You'd think they'd jump at the chance to have someone with a proven track record like Steven Soderbergh do a Star Wars movie.

As far as rejecting the premise for being outlandish, they should have brought Harrison in to tell them "it ain't that kind of movie, kid".

I finally saw the season finale of SNW, the season was a mixture of some good, not great, eppies with a bunch of meh to bad and a couple total stinkers. That 'documentary' episode was atrocious. I really liked the episode with Ortegas (I really like her) but the reveal at the end was kind of pointless and a copout. The vulcan episode was ok, but seemingly missed the mark with the odd, comedic view on vulcans from the cast (I found it amusing how going in many were so worried about Patton Oswalt but I found him to be pretty good). The 'large ship' eppy was pretty good and had a nice character exploration of Kirk while respecting the source material.

Overall though... meh.

I don’t think it’s passive

Strange new worlds is pretty good

Discovery was not

Picard was…not what it should have been

Very mixed bag in need of new vision
Agreed. Picard season 3 was mostly good. Season one was fine. Not great. Season 2 was preachy and poor.

SNW season 1&2 where fun. Didn't see season 3.

Discovery was all sorts of bad. It was like a Klingon endurance test. What's with the ugly bald Klingons?

At least Disney isn't the only ones to destroy a franchise.
