How much merch was available? going Halloween night so just curious if anything is even left. This is probably the last time I go to OBB too. Not having a World of Color for OBB to me is so ridiculous, the fact the last one was in 2019 (Villainous) is crazy to me.

I did not pay any attention to the merch, unfortunately.

I don't think anything's sold out; in fact, I recall going yesterday and noting that pretty much the entire OBB collection is at 30% discount now.

I wonder why they pulled Villainous; surely the GSATs weren't that bad?

I'm sure it's pure laziness on the company's part. After all, they aren't running Season of Light this year because they supposedly want to keep Happiness running through the entire 70th celebration.

I enjoyed my Boogie Bash experience last year, my first.
Highlight was the Villians Grove and the character treat trail interactions.

The characters were the real standout performances, as was the Grove’s atmospheric lighting and other subtle effects.
But I am a ambiance and lighting nerd..as well as a sound design nerd…so that area was all pure win for me.
Well worth experiencing in person at least once.

Parade was also enjoyable and I appreciated the differences between it and WDW’s ‘Boo to You’ Parade.

Although I did enjoy the experience, I will admit that I also came away feeling it was a one and done.

Part of the ‘problem’ may have simply been the fact that the event was taking place at DCA.
Am I a brat for stating I preferred the Halloween Events being held at Disneyland Park instead…?
Ops probably didn’t like it (logistic nightmare ) and DCA has a bit more elbow room for the treat trails and other related happenings.
But something was ‘missing’….

TBH, next year with so much construction I wonder what OBB will be like. It's a damn shame I missed the DL Halloween party, that seemed like such a cool event.

It was amazing in the 90's. Lightly attended, fog covering all of NOS and the river, interactive ghosts above Golden Horseshoe, Maleficent taking over the castle with her vines, scare actors in Pirates and Haunted Mansion.

I stopped going when the value of the candy I collected no longer exceeded the cost of a ticket (I took a BIG backpack). It was a great way to get treats to give out on Halloween while having lots of fun.
