@trr1 , We are experiencing a 30 minute wait to be seated at Bird in Hand Family Restaurant and Smorgasbord. We walked in the door at 3:05pm. I chose that because it is AFTER Lunch and yet BEFORE Dinner. I had HOPED that this strategy would allow us to be seated immediately but alas we are on a waiting list anyway.

It's a holiday weekend; there's always a wait out there on holidays, time doesn't matter. 30 minutes wouldn't have been bad. Hope you are enjoying the extra time off

Carolyn was off work on Friday, so, along with some errands, we went lookin’ for some more Halloween decorations.
Megan, Daniel, Emmy and Audrey had already put some decorations out too, including a neon/DayGlo pink skeleton on one of their trees. But, we felt they needed something to go in the little swing that’s still hanging from said tree since the girls were babies, so we found a small, articulated neon/DayGlo green skeleton to go in it, which they all absolutely loved, and we scored more “Cool Nana & Pappy” points…!!!!!

Then, they all came over yesterday afternoon to help us put out some more of the decorations we found on Friday, including some lighting that I forgot to get pictures of last night, but I’ll get some tonight and post later.
We’ve got bats on our garage door, and we put out some tombstones…!!!!!



Carolyn also ordered a 6’-tall inflatable Thanksgiving turkey to put in the yard next month…!!!!!



And, we’ll be doing Christmas decorations up again this year, always a bit bigger and better than the year before…!!!!!

We finally had a kinda’ cool mornin’ yesterday, but then it went back up towards Sillyville again…!!!!!
