When the weather gets cooler, the job of taking care of the household laundry becomes more time consuming. Folks who for months wore shorts...they are now wearing pants/jeans. Light weight short sleeve shirts are replaced with long sleeve shirts.

Not time consuming for me....my husband does all the laundry. But yes, there is more for him to wash.
The loads get bigger, for sure. Not only long pants and long sleeves, but the layers create more items in general.
It's Homecoming this week at my school, so we've had dress up days all week. Last night we had a homecoming parade in town. For the first time ever, our staff had a float in the parade. One of my coworkers brought her truck and a trailer from their farm that we decorated. We all got candy and tossed it to kids along the way. It was a lot of fun, especially hearing the kids yell our names as they watched from the street. I'm looking forward to doing it again next year!

Extra laundry is a small price for me to pay, for glorious colder weather!!! Bring it on!!
