So is Pascal a contract actor for Disney now? It's like the old days when Walt only knew a handful of actors like Ed Wynn and Kurt Russell.
He probably has a multi-picture deal with Disney, as he is starring in a bunch of Disney stuff. But its not exclusive like back in Walt's day, as he still does other work with other studios.

I imagine there's also elements of fostering relationships and even indirectly compensating actors for their overall contributions.

See the Haunted Mansion movie. I think everyone in that was in another Disney show or movie at the time, so it can be a way to provide a "bonus" acting job to certain people.

Just like how DCA opened with lots of rides that have images of celebrities that were on ABC at the time. Rosie O'Donnell, Drew Carey, Woopie Goldberg, Neil Patrick Harris to name a few. Almost everyone on Super Star Limo was currently associated with Disney in some way.

Tron opens Friday, I'm guessing reviews won't drop until Wednesday afternoon, were there any advance screenings or social media reactions? I'm not seeing much of anything promoting it

Tracking was at $44 million a few weeks ago, not sure if that's changed

Early screenings (at least in my area) are on Wednesday, so I doubt if there are reviews before then.

Tracking I think has been in the $40M-50M range for awhile now.

Good Boy is only in one theater near me, one showing per day, 10:35pm. Tomorrow there is one earlier one. WTH? Might be up late tonight.
whoa…. Good Boy is playing all day at the closest theater here…. I have heard good things.. If you see it…. I would be interested to hear what you thought… as my wife is like you….she is ok with creepy and scary but without the gore…. I would not think the blood and gore would be too extreme as it is rated PG13….

The review embargo drops Tuesday, per Ms. Grace Randolph.

Also tracking hasn’t changed but insiders like Empire City Box Offce see data that implies a $50M+ OW for Tron: Ares will happen.

Also maybe it’s a you problem because I’ve seen a decent amount of ads and promotion for Tron, which is supposedly an “apparently good” movie, per The Beyond Reporter.

So, we’ll see what happens.

We’re doing the 10:35pm - unless we fall asleep first!

We ended up going at 10:30.

We lost our dog a year and a half ago, and I just loved spending time with this onscreen pup. No cgi, very expressive face, sounds I haven’t heard in awhile like a collar jingling…no narrator explaining the dog’s thoughts.

The narrative moved along in other ways. I enjoyed most of it until the very end. I thought the ending could have more clearly brought everything home. I was looking for a little more payoff.

After the very short credits, the couple who made the movie explained how they got the dog to “act.” So stay. I said stay. Good boy.

Not gory at all. Some bleeding here and there, no biggie.

I think we will try to see it next weekend… it if is still in theaters….i am not sure how long the film will last in theaters…I am lucky my closest theater is one of the only theaters showing Good Boy near me… It sounds like something my wife might like…. As it seems it might have been made for dog lovers… which she is…. Plus I like the fact there is no cgi and it is mostly just the acting dog
