I think parts of it look nice, especially the rug, artwork, and small pops of color, but overall it does read kind of bland especially in the bedroom. That said, the old rooms did too. This is the only resort where that kind of makes sense to me given the sleek minimalist vibe of the whole resort. But I am still waiting for Disney to wow me with a refurb. The closest they have come recently is Boulder Ridge which do look overall very nice. But a lot of others just look incredibly bland.
Who knows, I could be a minority. Maybe this is what people want, since many hotels, not just Disney, are making their designs more and more generic.

Not a bad look on the refurb! Like most of in the art, though I do wish the fold downs kept with the theme that is in all(at least I think it's all) other Murphy's where characters are featured, usually bedding down for the night. It's a cute touch for the kids.
Yes.
The south wing is all done I believe.
They are now working on the upper floors of the North wing. So anyone staying in the north wing will be in a non- refurbed room.
Once they start work on the lower floors of the north wing, then everyone will be in a refurbished room; the remainder will be taken out of use.

So, really looking at it, I kinda wish they went for a more space type theme, or even art deco. The living room doesn't seem cohesive. Like the muphy bed and rug were a start of some whimsy but they the rest just looks thrown in and bland and dulls it down. Bathroom could be any 3 star chain hotel bathroom. Nothing really Disney about it at all.
I do like the bedroom, particularly the floor. Is it a carpet? Are the swirls raised at all or just looks it? Anyway wish the rest of the room matched that.

Does anybody know if the downstairs couch pulls out in the newly refurbished 3BR Grand VIllas at BLT? I know theres a King in the Master, 2 queens in each room upstairs and a pull down bed in the sitting area upstairs but checking specifically for the downstairs couch.......
Also, is there a twin pulldown under the upstairs sitting room TV?

I don’t think the downstairs couch pulls out, nor is there a twin pull down.
It sleeps 12:
1 x king
4 x queen
1 x double pull out
I guess if you aren’t breaking capacity, someone could sleep on the downstairs couch.

Not breaking capacity.........Just have some large teenagers that would like to have their own bed vs sharing the double pulldown murphy bed
