MK Cinderella Castle Set to Return to Classic Color Scheme

Andrew C

You know what's funny?
I picture this around the castle to protect it...except made up of Disney adults rather than Ralph.

Taken the joke too far now?

I don't remember if they announced a date, but this is more than likely not happening until after the holiday season.

Yeah we're thinking of going this week and also again in february.

My hope and assumption is the same. That they are waiting till after the holidays - and might have it done by the time we go in February. Hopefully! 🤞

I think the classic castle colors should give dreamlights a new realistic hope again.

2026 could be the right time for it, especially right before “intents to visit” will pick up with Tropical Americas opening.

Bookings are strong and resilient around the holidays anyway so it might be a moot point.

I for one welcome the demise of the Barbie palette. I hope that it also ensures the so called "dreamlight" mesh installation never returns even if it means the elimination of the annual Festival of the Crane and courtyard construction wall.

I hope they get great feedback on how they do the painting where the cranes are down by noon each day so that they say “We can install Dreamlights the same way.”

Yes
Methinks you're in the minority about not wanting the return of Dreamlights.
They were removed after 2019, don't draw additional headcount to the parks (MVMCP always sells out), interferes with guest crowd flow before and after installation , and interfere with the digital image mapping for the night time shows.
